Listening to the various talking heads, it seems as if the whole team played better with Hurts under center. Oddly enough, the D really stepped up. According to the various personalities, they attribute this to Jalen's leadership.
Reminds me of the rumblings last year, and early this year, that Wentz isn't winning any popularity contests in the locker room.
I'm hoping that VJ has a plan for the rookie's second start.
Chase, oddly enough, is one of our leading receivers. Who's gonna step up? Dan? Kirk? Larry?
Can we exploit the injuries on the Eagles OL?

QB Hurts has a tough road ahead as a locker room leader and winner. IMV, PHI's issues today track all the way back to the Super Bowl LII (2018) and subsequent player exodus starting with QB Nick Foles. Some SB winning teams build on success and become attractive to the best players. PHI was unable to achieve the 'dynasty' label because of management decisions and too much team turmoil. QB Wentz was the starter in 2018. QB Foles was his back up. Foles was masterful vs. the NE Patriots at the SB. Afterwards, Wentz or Foles had to go away. The team got rid of the locker room leader and proven winner: QB Nick Foles. I predict that PHI will double down on the 2018 mistake, trading away Wentz in 2021. He will find a new team, but it will take some negotiation. His CAP is ridiculous and his market value is suspect. Per your Q, can the Cardinals D exploit the makeshift Eagles OL? Sure. The Cardinals just might do that. PHI QB Hurts is faster but less experienced than NYG QB Jones. Hurts may spook and run more to avoid a few sacks. Hurts was so-so accurate and effective when needed at passing vs. the Saints D. It was the PHI rushing game that won the day last weekend, not Hurts passing. I expect a similar game plan from PHI @ ARZ on Sunday. Run heavy O, pass when necessary.

Hurts at this point is a “run first” quarterback, he is pretty fast and very quick. Must make him pass the ball. Stop the run and heavy blitz packages. Probably need to spy him to some degree, get in his head.

12/17/2020 Rudy Ford Safety A former Arizona Cardinal selected in the 6th round and later traded to the Philadelphia Eagles. Here is another Steve Keim trade special. The Cardinals trade Rudy Ford to the Eagles for Bruce HectorSo where the Heck is Hector? He was waived in 2019 among the final cuts. He now resides with the Carolina Panthers. Rudy Ford though not a starter is still on the Eagles football team. www.philadelphiaeagles.com/team/players-roster/rudy-ford/

www.philadelphiaeagles.com/news/winning-from-pocket-is-litmus-test-for-every-nfl-qbA PHI sports analyst provides insights into the flexibility that a pass/run threat QB brings to the game. Jalen Hurts is showcased. The is also commentary by HC Pederson. Forum members should take note of his queues. Remember Miami's QB Tua and what he did to the Cardinals D? Tua ran only a few times and when he did trot it cost the D badly, plus Tua's extreme accuracy on passes added to the effect. MIA's rookie QB beat ARZ better D. The Cardinals will spy on QB Hurts, you can take that to the bank. It was no accident that QB Hurts' # was called over 10 times by HC Pederson vs. the Saints. Pederson calculated that the Saints D would not pay much attention to Hurts and he was right. DC Joseph should have watched the PHI @ Saints game video a 100 times by now. I hope he was paying close attention and schooled the D starters. Simmons should be assigned to Hurts. Rookie vs. rookie. They will match up well on speed.
