After the NE game a week from Sunday, which the Cardinals will win, the Cardinals are at home v. LAR the first week of December, the 6th. The potential good news is about LAR's two-game schedule and short week. The Rams play the Bucs at MNF and then have a short prep week before traveling to Glendale to play the Cardinals. Maybe Bruce Arians Bucks will beat the stuffing (pun) out of the Rams at MNF, leaving mop up duty for the Cardinals. The Rams will have one less day to heal before the Cardinals bus hopefully runs them over. They also lost their LT Tonight's game will be telling. Im thinking we're gonna see a uptick in 12 man sets for the Rams. Burkhead also gone. He suffered a gruesome injury.
Lost a tough game at home, we have extra rest, and they are down a couple important players.
We better win, by double digits. We need momentum. It won't be easy though, but I think after a huge swing in emotions of Miami/Buffalo/Seattle game, we are nearing the end of our schedule and we need to get some "normalcy" back before we kick off the past part of the season.
We could win the next 5, or 4 out of 5 with Eagles/Giants coming up (more worried about Giants) and 9ers still reeling with injuries (although still formidable). Enough for the playoffs. We need to beat the Rams at least once to win the division, perhaps twice. Hopefully they lose to Bucs tomorrow.
But we have to win this game. I don't think Seattle was a must win, I think it was expected we lose. But with Rams looming around the corner, we HAVE to win this game to get the confidence back.

HOU NE Gamebook 2020 11 22.pdf (131.02 KB) HOU @ NE Gamebook 2020 11 22 This Gamebook you got to read. ARZ travels to NE next Sunday. Newton bombed HOU's defense for 365 yards passing today. NE still lost to HOU, 27-20. Texans RB David Johnson ran 10 times for only 15 yards against NE's D. Is DJ that burned out or is NE's D that good? Go Cardinals! Beat the Patriots! Win #7. This game is a must win for the Cardinals.

Has anybody checked the weather forecast for Boston this coming weekend? Cardinals win this one unless they play in freezing rain snow mud and they also cannot turn the ball over. Isaiah Simmons is big enough and fast enough to stop Cam Newton running the ball.

Looks good so far. 50F and PC skies is great football wx for Foxborough, MA in late Nov. No mud possible. Gillette Stadium has "FieldTurf", and artificial turf. The former grass surface was replaced after the Pats 2006 season. Two weeks after the Pats game, the Cardinals travel to NYG for the Dec 13th game. Long-range wx forecast for NYC areas on the 13th is 46F and PC skies. That's decent for MetLife Stadium in mid Dec. Cam Newton rushed 3 times for 6 yards v. the Texans yesterday. I can catch him and David Johnson these days.

Years ago during the mid 1970's. The Cardinals, Cowboys and Redskins were in a three way race for the NFC East Division title. Now the NFC West is the toughest conference. Thanks for the history FL; I didn't really appreciate the past Redskins link. Re. the draft picks - You can chalk those down in the 'Missed Opportunity' column. - I take it you have all but given up on Isabella?

For some pre-game fun, see my locked GDT and the two links (BING and YouTube) for the last two CARDS/PATS games in 2012 and 2016. The links are live.
Both past games final outcomes came down to the Kicker's doing their jobs. Both team's Kickers failed to execute. Both home teams failed to win.
This is prime example why we hate Kickers in general. Some can't handle the pressure.

Sadly momentum and National attention just always brings out the worst in this team. I felt it leading up to Seattle game, just knew it was going to go bad. The one that was a must win was the Dolphins. Needed to go 2-1 in that stretch but went 1-2. Lucky to get that one, stole one back after giving so many away so that was nice. Seattle has an extremely easy schedule the rest of the year and we do not match up well with the Rams. Those games they gave away are going to hurt at the end of the year. Time to step up....
