to answer your question...its ultimately mb's fault...more directly sk's.

It starts at the top, that person (the owner) has ultimate control over the personnel in the entire organization so by default if that person gets blame they also deserve credit if things go good. Losing 2 games in a row doesn't mean all is lost, but the manner in which those games were lost says a lot about the team. They didn't even look competitive, could be SB being with the team for a shorter time as opposed to a couple years. He might not be as sure of the plays and who he can trust (other than Fitz) to be where they need to be and get open.
Agreed with jeffcardinalfan on both accounts, accountability comes from the top, and that's what SB does. He was groomed as a 'west coast' QB early in his pro career with OC Pat Shurmur. He gave away who was his primary receiver, this caused many checkdowns to the 2nd or 3rd receiver, or throwing it away.
After a few more games he may come around, it doesn't look optimistic, but never say never, a win or two can change things for the better.

It's MB and SK's fault for hiring both Wilks and McCoy. Neither are capable in their current positions. Wilks wasn't ready to be a head coach. MCCoy has failed as an offensive coordinator with several teams. Like most say. It starts at the top.

I wish I could replace the Bidwell family.
