Did anyone else notice that PP had 7 solo tackles Monday night, and tied with Budda and B. Murphy for highest on the team?
I have been one of PP's harsh critics, but now have to give him a big pat on the back, and do it gladly, regardless of the reason for the change.
If he can keep this up, it will go a long way in helping the defense in our remaining games. He wasn't flashy about it and to be honest I only noticed two or three of them, but he was a big help overall even if he is less effective now as a CB.
Attaboy, PP. Keep it up!

Thanks Knobby, You have opened my eyes about Patrick Peterson. Great of you to point this out. I have been so hard on him over the last few years. You bring us some good news. Let us all hope he keeps it up.

Budda effect....Baker is one bad Dude, hard to play next to him and not give effort. This is something that I think is underestimated. When someone sees one of their teammates go all out, it inspires others to do the same. Leaders do more than just make good plays, they make others want to do the same. A player like Budda is valuable in more than one way.

PP21 is a stud! I never get the hate for him. It's a scoring league he plays the other teams number 1. We have been lucky to have him.

Budda effect....Baker is one bad Dude, hard to play next to him and not give effort. Hard to believe that he had his first career interception in the NFL against Dallas. The dude reminds me a lot of Adrian Wilson.

I was always impressed by the way that Mathieu could tackle...Budda can hang with the best tacklers I've seen. Fun to watch.

Budda effect....Baker is one bad Dude, hard to play next to him and not give effort. That is the X factor that he brings. Listen to the game he was mic up (until he broke the mic with a savage hit). He was non stop talking and pumping the defense up. Except for KM he is the MVP of this team, and is the soul of the team.

Someone lit a bonfire under the Cardinals team about 2 weeks ago. The Carolina game was performance cellar for the coaches and players. Did Bidwill have an all-team discussion? I've not known Mikey to get mixed up in locker room talk and behavior. The big energy change about 2 weeks ago makes me wonder who lit the bonfire.
It is 100% true the D that played lights out v. the Cowboys was not the half-a$$ D that showed up against DET and certainly not the pitful D that showed up against CAR.

Since the Documentary "All or Nothing," PP has played like a front runner. When things are going well, PP's engaged and plays hard. Or if he's 'Mic'd Up' and in the spotlight. When things are headed south? So goes his effort. He hasn't even sniffed pro-bowl calibur effort so far this year.
And remember his disgruntled social media posts regarding the organization in Arian's last year only to resurface in Wilks' first year just two seasons ago? (Can't blame him under Wilks and McCoy)
I'll never question #21's talent as a defender. I question his heart and effort when his team is in a free fall. JMO.

For what he is getting paid he better tackle. I for one hope they don't bring him back next year. Same with Larry, Drake, and Hicks. Larry is pretty much done as a WR. He never had that much speed and what he did have is gone. The other two are just repalceable.
