Old board wanted a new head coach because apparently new = better. Be careful what you ask for Not necessarily. Rich Kotite got hired TWICE. There's no point in longing for Arians, he had played his hand, was digging in on lousy coaches and Palmer was leaving. So Keim was on the clock to make the right hire, and so far it looks like he crapped the bed. Not seeing any reason for optimism.

This is exactly what I’ve been saying. Mark my words, Steve Wilks will be a huge bust as a head coach. When you tell your players - who are grown men and professional football players - that you don’t like songs with cuss words in them, that is a humongous red flag to me. This is a football team, not church. Tells me his priorities are in the wrong place and he’s never going to be intense enough to coach a winning team. LOL this is a Red Flag!I swear as soon as I heard him say that in an interview, I cringed. That is not the type of coach I want running my football team. That is him caring about something that is a complete non-issue.

One guy can save this coaching staff and GM...Josh Rosen. They will realize this soon.

I always like Arians and I would love for Rosen to be coached by Arians instead of McCoy. He wanted out and it was time. I do find it a little strange that SK who basically owes his job and contract extension to Arians would hire a HC and OC who don't believe in any of the concepts that made this team successful enough for Steve Wilks to have a job and get an extension. What the hiring of Wilks and more importantly the staffing by Wilks proves is SK has no football philosophy at all.

I hadn't heard that, maybe I need to pay more attention in the offseason. So we go from lake house boozer to choir boy. Maybe someday we can get a guy who has a couple of beers and calls it a night but is OK with F-bombs.

Old board wanted a new head coach because apparently new = better. Be careful what you ask for how can it get any worse than winless which is where we are? you cant go down from the bottom. look at out starts. if they could rank college teams ahead of us they would have done it last week. they cant rank us any worse than #32 which is where we are going to be after Monday nights games. any change might be as bad, but it certainly cant get any worse. if we had played our cheerleaders so far this year we could not possibly have a worse record than last place. we couldn't get worse than #32 with a pop warner team. odds are always that any change will be an improvement over no change in worst case possible. any chance is better than no chance. 1 in a million is still better than none in a million. and if 1 in a million doesn't work you just change a million more times until you aren't the worst any more.

So far, Wilks and McCoy head the most gutless, inept coaching staff I've ever seen. Complete garbage through and through.

I'll happily take the "lousy coaches" from last year that got us 8 wins with an arguable worse supporting cast than we're throwing out there right now. Hilarious everyone wanted Arians gone for stubbornness with the Special Teams coach like we didn't just let the Rams have the special teams player of the week with a guy off the street. Can't even get in the position to miss field goal kicks because we can't even cross the 50. Keim will be the next fall guy you guys will celebrate getting out then we get someone worse and we'll be right back here

This wilks guy seems a sleep. Does he even get mad or raise his voice? No place in NFL for a nice guy. No passion does spill over to players. Who picked Bradford? You guys thought we had bad QB's before, right?

We looked so unprepared to play last week, came out ok the first couple drives this week, then fell apart again. Someone needs to "evaluate" the coaching staff and not just the players.
