Robbie Anderson will be an interesting match-up. He has big play ability (4.36 speed), and as such, often gets soft coverage. He's a boom or bust player traditionally, but he's been getting a decent amount of targets this year.
Their running backs typically move the chains, and despite the lost of the RB1, Mike has filled in admirably. His average rush is only 3.4 yards, but he averages over 7 per pass play. Hopefully Campbell can shut him down since the Panthers really don't use their TEs this year.
Donte Jackson already has 2 picks on the year. I haven't watch that much film on him though. Here's one of the picks against the chargers. . He also had two picks vs Kyler in week 3 of last year.
Offensive line: they have allowed 8 sacks so far, five from the Bucs alone. Teddy also had two picks against the Bucs. If we get ahead early, hopefully our defense can take advantage of their offense by putting pressure on Bridgewater.
CB speed: Donte Jackson: 4.32 Troy Pride: 4.4 Corn Elder: 4.5 Rasul Douglas: 4.59
Defensive Line: They're allowing almost 5 yards per rush, and only have 2 sacks on the year. I'm hoping that our O-line can go to work here and create some rushing room and protect K1.

They are missing McCaffrey. If we lose to a ho-hum QB without his best weapon.... with a first year head coach with no NFL experience, not to mentioned we are coming off a loss last week and should be inspired....some house cleaning needs to be done.

Time to get creative: I would like to see usage of some two RB schemes. - Yes, take out a WR and play Drake and Edmonds together. With alternative lines of attack then it will be that much harder to block. For short-distance (requirement) gains this seems less risky than short passes and certainly it should be more productive than tossing sideways to a WR and hoping that he can scramble the yardage. We need more production in the running game...

A true picture of the team is coming into focus. On paper, the Cardinals should whip the Panthers fannies. One element that never shows up in the statistics is coach's playbook decisions. I mention that because devongent suggest more creativity. That can only come from the minds of the Holy Trinity: HC, OC and DC. Some minds are an abyss.

Let the last game vs. the Lions be a lesson. If the Cards play like that in this game, they're going to lose. I see a real lack of commitment to the run at times again this season like the first half of last season. It was starting to work against Detroit and Kyler had to be the hero again and set up the Lions to score points off turnovers and could have a 4th time if the INT wasn't dropped. The defense has to play better and get more more pressure on the quarterback. CJ was nowhere to be found and this defense needs playmakers. Simmons is their best chance of that and hopefully he will be able to play at SS. Anderson and Moore will eat this Card's defense for lunch if something doesn't change.

The DET loss has shaken the bettors confidence in the Cardinals to beat the teams they should beat. The Cardinals did not win and they did not cover v. DET. The less feared Cardinals are now drawing the kind of betting attention reserved for teams that don't make the playoffs.

I'm wondering if the Cardinals could beat the Lions if they played each other again this year. Some players forget lessons as soon as a play ends. For some, forgetting starts by shower time. A few very good players think, add lessons, and change habits. How smart is Simmons? We'll see him in action soon.
