I think the good news is LB is a position you can find in later rounds. The Packers have 2 very good ILBs. Blake Martinez and Jake Ryan. Both 4th rounders. The Browns Joe Schobert, also 4th round. All white boys, lol. So next year: draft a 4th round white boy LB and theres a 100% chance hes a star. Not if SK is drafting.... Nah, he'll take a TE converted from a QB converted from a WR converted from a figure skater converted from a fireman who ran a 4.39 40. Just need to Coach him up.

3 position changes, 2 Defensive schemes thru 2 off seasons, and 1 year of Regular season in the Old scheme. Yeah he's basically a rookie in a new Defense with a new scheme. Don't know what all the hub bub is about. Let the young man learn his new position(s) and the talent will come out. He couldn't shed a block last year and he can't shed a block this year. Linebacker 101. Isn't that what you were saying about Buc as well? And I think you exaggerate too.

Haasan was on the injury report. Wonder if that will limit him today along with his usual limitation.

Buchannon the first round pick in 2014 played 25 snaps.

I was concerned with switching to a 4-3 and what that would do to Chandler Jones impact. I hope Wilks, unlike BA, will hold coaching staff accountable and get this ship righted. This offense is so hard to watch.

I think DBuc has a lot of trouble shedding blocks. He does however fill the hole and make sure tackles when he doesn't have to shed. Having both of them on the field together is a huge liability. DBuc was much more protected in our old D and having two guys who you're relying on to tackle the running backs within 2 to 4 yards of the LOS who can't shed isn't a good thing. It's pretty obvious when your safeties are making the bulk of tackles on the opposing teams running backs you're in trouble on D. That's why both of them are getting less playing time. Reddick can't shed and he is slow to fill the hole. He has no instinct for the position. He is a liability on the field and that's why he's playing time is disappearing.

I sure as heckfire don't need another two years of a head coach telling me that what I'm watching isn't really what I'm watching.
