Week 1 Game Preview Continued
Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers
When the Cardinals have the ball.
Kenyan Drake:
For all this talk about the Air Raid Offense
being so pass oriented I pointed out that
when he was hired Coach Kingsbury had at at Texas Tech
had 1,000 yard plus rushing seasons out of RB
DeAndre Washington.
Coach Kingsbury's now 2nd year into the NFL, I can see Kenyan Drake
playing a pivotal role in upgrading this offense.
Kenyan Drake's speed. We have a full year of it
ahead of us.
Here is a comparison of speed as A Miami Dolphin
vs an Arizona Cardinal.

Kenyan Drake ranked 29th in rushing in the NFL last season
He had 817 yards with the best average in the NFC WEST AT 4.8/carry
Miami/AZ combined
In the NFC West, only Chris Carson of the Seahawks (3rd overall)
had more yards 1200 yds (Todd Gurley ranked 20th but is no longer an LA Ram).
Here is a play that really shows the speed and a
great effort by the offensive line.
What you have here is basically 21 personnel, a half wing counter play
which is called a GATE ( guard and tackle pulling).
The Seahawks are the team here and are playing an over
defensive front. Kenyan Drake runs this counter play
and picks up a great seal to the outside from Justin Pugh
and the tight end.
THE PLAY WENT FOR 80 YARDS AND A TOUCHDOWN
Next:
Another play we could see versus the 49ers
if disguised well.
Again we have a 12 personnel GATE where the tight end and guard pull
inside and look at the tight hole Kenyan Drake gets through
versus one of the best defensive lines in the NFL.
Look for screens to Kenyan Drake as well
with his speed receiving skills.
Don't leave out Chase Edmonds.
He is determined to get some good playing time.
Here is a play that worked versus the NY Giants
we have gun 11 personnel zoom CAGE (center and strong side guard)
pull
You want to see the RED SEA PART? WATCH THIS PLAY IN SLOW MOTION
AS BOTH THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE ARE SEALED OFF TO CREATE A GREAT OPEN LANE
1st play of the video

Eno Benjamin:
I only have college tape to go on
so here we go
Eno Benjamin shows two great abilities here on this play
He reads the defensive players really well and is a patient
runner who lets his blockers set up the run for him.
GO to the 7 second mark which is the second play in the video
Watch him read the defense dig in deep behind his blockers
nd sells this to the defense very well.
he then plant his foot and take it outside in a nice run.
