The Cardinals play preseason game 4 on Thursday. I don’t think the team will play any starters. The offensive playbook will be very limited. There are many questions that need to be answered. I think the team will be throwing the ball a bunch. It’s the last opportunity for WR’s to make a splash. The RB position battles are over, the WR position still has some questions that need to be answered. Who will take the most snaps at QB? If Glennon takes most of the snaps, there is a possibility he may take some cheap shots. If the club let’s Kanoff take the majority of snaps, and if he shines bright, he may not clear wavers. I wonder what the club is thinking. Lots of questions, and answers coming soon..

The coaches obviously know who the starters will be and most likely all the #2s as well. If anything, they will be watching other teams to see who they may pick up that is potentially better than our current roster once they get cut. I sincerely doubt I will watch any portion of this game. Maybe on tape delay if i'm done rearranging by sock drawer, polishing my roof tiles and waxing the dog. |

My prediction is 1 quarter of glennon, 2 quarters of Rosen, and 1 quarter of Kanoff to end the game. Rosen gets the most because hopefully this will be the last time he'll see meaningful reps for a while.

I would reverse the 1st 2 for the QBs. 1 quarter for Rosen, 2 for Glennon (he Really Needs the Reps!), and then Kanoff. Glennon really showed some of his worst traits under center last night. Stare downs, throwing 3 yds short of the 1st down marker on 3rd down, and poor reads under pressure. Rosen does not need to be in the game longer than the 1st quarter because after the 1st quarter it's kamikaze time for all the "bubble"/P Squad hopefuls. |

I am wondering about Haason Reddick. I think he played until the final series last night and I would not expect that if he was up to speed. Seems he either is struggling with the new D, or the coaches are sending a rather loud message.

Hump was starting to get better against Gregory right before the 2nd team O-line came in. But it was a very rough start for him.
Smith did not allow as much pressure as I thought he would. A glimmer of hope there, maybe...
Munyers days of being back up Center are over imho. As he did not get any reps there that I saw. Did make a couple good pulls from the G position though. But is it enough to make the 53? I don't think so.

I think the only "questions" are Glennon vs Kanoff and Dawson vs McCrane. And even then, the coaching staff might already have their minds made up. So we will have an idea of who to keep there after this game, but everything else looks set to me, especially on offense. The starters shouldn't see the field.
- Vontarrius Dora and Benson Mayowa will be filling Golden's spot it looks like; very impressive preseason for the former
- Greg Little is likely cut; been out of the game for a couple years and hasn't done anything to make up for it. None of the undrafted WRs have done enough stick. I see Fitz, Kirk, Butler, Williams, Nelson as the top 5
There may be a few other battles going on for depth spots such as Smith vs Capi, Turner vs Howard, etc if one is open, but those aren't that big of a deal, and they are each behind some players.

80% of the players we see Thursday, will not be on the 53 man roster.
