i don’t think it will affect them at all if there is no fans. I think if they are going to get creative they are going to have to create television subscriptions to watch your favorite teams and pipe in sound effects etc.

I’m guessing it’ll be the first 20-30 games of the 2020 season.. definitely an exciting development. It’ll make all the resort/hotel owners happy!
Go Cardinals!

www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/mlb-expected-to-submit-2020-season-restart-plan-to-players-union-by-next-week-reports-say/I am a STL Cardinals baseball fan. I wanted to make that clear up front. I still feel pain from other team fans. Per this article from CBSSPORTS, the MLB player's union will discuss with owners and the Commish the possibility of starting the season on 1 July and playing as many games as economically feasible to include the Pennant playoffs and World Series. A 100-day season looks like a real possibility, based on the talks. Perhaps the schedule will include cross-League games or maybe just Division regional games to cut down on travel time, costs, and disease risks. Stay tuned! P
