Bruce Arians is currently about an hour into his new career. It's making this Lions Buccs game a bit more interesting, except for my mom who says she can't understand what he is saying. Maybe they just need to turn his mic up a bit?
They other guys call him "coach" and ask him "coach" questions, he'll probably interject on his own more often once he gets the hang of it. I can't help but mine his comments for connections to the Cardinals... like, he still has a real thing for Ameer Abdullah - very impressed, loves his whole family... weren't the Cards supposedly obsessed with Abdullah in 2015? When Detroit took him off the board and they had to settle for David Johnson?

Bruce will enjoy the new gig. Far less stress, far more fun, and free booth beer.
Yep, your Abdullah and Keim history is correct. And if Detroit lets Abdullah walk, they're nuts.
I'm 100% happy with the Cards current RB stable.

Watched a bit of the game. I was surprised how quiet he was. There were some very close calls on the field, and he didn’t comment on them. I hope BA has a long and successful broadcasting career.. but in order to have one, I think he will need to get a little riled up over some of the bad calls on the field. I watched it only to hear BA’s commentary.. was disappointed.. maybe next time he will ramp it up a notch or two.. GO CARDS!

Think they have BA on a leash? I`m betting they do...i know they told him to tune down the cussing...and its quite possible he doesn't know how to express himself without all the F-bombs

I wondered what kind of practice (a variety of drills, I bet) BA had to do in order to relearn how to talk without swearing. He pulled it off though, so bravo. He was pretty darn positive in almost all of his comments. Had rave reviews about players ("He's going to make the team!"), and pretty much no criticism of anything. He got most animated when talking about scoring opportunities: "80% of the time that's going to be a touchdown!""you can't pass up those points there!". He did call "cut day" the hardest day of his life - not because of it's effect on the players who don't make the roster, but because there are guys that he really enjoyed coaching and wanted to keep at it.

Who knows, maybe some idiot owner will offer BA $100M to coach again. It's happening now for Gruden, a coach out of the game 10 years!

Ding... Ding.... we have a winner. People who cuss a lot typically can't express themselves very well in the absence of swearing. They use the bravado of cussing to mask their inability to say something noteworthy.
