I would be ok with trading glennon for a roll od medical tape I am assuming that you are referring to a roll of used medical tape....a roll of new medical tape is way too much

I wasn't impressed by the guy today. He had some good throws where a few balls were dropped, but overall he didn't look better than Glennon. Mike did enough to keep his job for now. All Glennon has to do is coast through game 4 and he'll make the team no problem. The only scenario I see Kanoff making the team is a Glennon injury in combination with an impressive outing for Kanoff. Without both of these factors, we're going to see either Glennon or some QB veteran signed from cuts or FA.

kanoff was playing with 4th and 5th string today. Glennon was playing with the starters and 2nd and 3rd string. you said he didn't look better, of corse not he had a lesser team. the thing is despite that he didn't look any worse. in the past two games where he played with the same caliber of team he surpassed Glennon quite a bit. he did look more like Glennon today, but there was a good reason for that. when you compare the salaries kanoff is the much better investment. and kanoff has a future while all Glennon will ever have is a past.

Kanoff is so clearly better than Glennon its ridiculous
"But they played identical" says the the Glennon fans.
Yes, they did look identical. And Kanoff is a rookie and Glennon is a 5 year pro. Glennon should be lightyears better. But hes not.

Whether we keep Glennon or Kanoff, unless we can somehow trade Glennon the cards are on the hook for his salary for the next 2 years. The question should be, who is the best QB. I agree, we should keep Kanoff. I think the team will cut Kanoff, and hopefully pick him back up and add him to the practice squad. That is the best we can hope for. I don’t see the cards cutting Glennon, but I bet they are trying to trade him..

kannof is the better of the two. and what happens in two years? kan will still be under rookie contract while Glennon is probably out of the nfl. with his years in the league even if he signed a minimum deal he would still cost over 2X as much as kan will. sometimes you gotta admit you goofed and stop throwing good money after bad. this is such a time. who is gonna trade for Glennon when they know they can have a better player for 4 years than Glennon would cost them for 1 year if we waive kanoff? nobody. would you take on glennons salary knowing its guaranteed if it is? Bradford is signed for two years, same as Glennon. rosen has a concussion history. hes gonna need a backup for years 3,4,5.....or do you propose in 2 years we resign Glennon with a raise? two years from no kanoff will still only cost half a mill, Glennon will cost a minimum of 1 mill. if we are on the hook we are on the hook. we aren't going to save money keeping glennon, in 2 years we will just be spending millions more. somebody blew it with the Glennon contract. take it out of their check. the cards might not be able to save money on kanoffs 1st two years but they can develop him and save millions on the last 2 years of his contract. they only way it would make sense to cut kanoff is if you think rosen is gonna be superman and never need a backup, in which case you would not only cut kanoff but Glennon and Bradford was well if you cant trade them amd open roster slots for more receivers, linemen, etc...

lets see what he has got in the next 2 games before we crown him the next Danny white`s nephew Who's crowning anyone? Posters just stating the kid has played well for a UDFA. And with the limited action we saw out of Glennon in PS game 1, the kid has out played Glennon. If Glennon comes in and plays against Dallas and does well then some of the negative Glennon talk will subside. But that is a Big IF imho. Remember it only took 4 games into last season for the Bears to switch to their rookie QBoF. And what was the Bears record in those 4 games again? Like i said...you shouldn't have crowned yet

You guys stil think Kanoff deserves a roster spot? Nobody is pulling him off the practice squad. The over evaluation of players continues. I like him enough to keep around, but not on the 53.

yes he deserves a roster spot. the starting two qbs have a injury histories. the 3rd string qb will start a game or more this year. look at the personel and play calling. and I don't think that was accidental. the cards are trying to make Glennon look better than he is so they can trade away his contract. when kanoff plays with the same caliber of players he is far better than Glennon. its like the cards put Glennon in a porche and kanoff on a schwin. sure Glennon looks faster. when they were both in a porche tho kanoff was lapping Glennon. the past two games were a pure sales / snow job / infomercial. don't fall for it. there is a reason the cards want to be rid of Glennon and his contract. if they can find a sucker for Glennon more power to them.

Glennon has clearly won the #3 job. As much as I have liked Kanoff's play, I have to agree. Now we will see if Kanoff makes the Psquad. And/or did Glennon's scoring drive show enough to other QB needy teams to make the Cards an offer they can't refuse for him? Sidenote: will the Broncos try to trade Lynch? Good performance from him even if it was the Card's 3rd stringers.

hopefully if cards don't trade glennon kanof will be on practice squad...another possible suitor for glennon would be the bills...neither McCarron or pederman has played well in preseason.
