This guy is impressing me. Know much about him? I guess I could have looked him up but I'd like to hear opinions.

Smart Guy, has looked good, played against 2 and 3rd strings. Less than 500k cap hit. Good arm. Seems to have bonded with Rosen, I hope they keep him, probably practice squad.. but I’d rathr they cut Glennon and keep Kanoff.. most importantly, HE’s a ROOKIE!! You just never know.. but if they cut him, I bet he is picked up quickly..

Poise in the pocket, can make the throws. No happy feet either. He's worth developing imho.

If that guy ends up on the practice squad, somebody's gonna go after him. I hope they can trade Glennon instead. To Denver maybe? Other ideas?

With Rosen having bumthumbitis, it would make sense to hold him out of the Cowboys game. That would almost assure seeing Kanoff for a longer period, which is good.
But there will be pressure to use Rosen anyway for the "experience" factor Wilks promotes, hopefully without harming his thumb recovery from the helmet hit. Thumbs are important - - -
Any bets on who plays and for how long? Not me.

Give him at least another series before the proclamation. If Mr. Rosen sits, I would think it would be Bradford 1st quarter then Glennon 2nd with the 1’s. Second half the kid will get his chance with the (fresh) #2 squad. IF he plays well you gotta keep him.. there’s a chance he could just tear up Dallas #2’s.. Great problem to have..

My only worry with this scenario would be having two rookies backing up Bradford. You cant compare John Skelton to Rosen, but it didn't end well when the Cards had to go with Skelton and Max Hall as the depth, did it?
With Rosen's current (hopefully minor) injury, and his concussion history, I'm pretty certain that Glennon makes the final roster. Kanoff can be protected on the PS. The FO will have a plan of action should another team come sniffing.

lets see what he has got in the next 2 games before we crown him the next Danny white`s nephew Who's crowning anyone? Posters just stating the kid has played well for a UDFA. And with the limited action we saw out of Glennon in PS game 1, the kid has out played Glennon. If Glennon comes in and plays against Dallas and does well then some of the negative Glennon talk will subside. But that is a Big IF imho. Remember it only took 4 games into last season for the Bears to switch to their rookie QBoF. And what was the Bears record in those 4 games again?

Keep him. He's the future at QB#2. Trade Glennon for anything you can get. I'm hopeful that we can get a serviceable LB for the guy or a draft pick. I think He's practically free to the team we trade with.

Do you really think if Sam goes down Glennon will win you enough games to matter ? If Sam goes down for any length of time what ever slight chance of the playoffs goes poof. Rather keep the two rookies and develop them than keep Glennon. Glennon is another Gabbert. Plain and simple.

I agree with this, unless Sam goes down late in the season, then they may have a shot still. However, at that point Rosen will probably be ready to play anyway. keep Kanoff and trade Glennon for a real back up DT, the Cards are way too thin on the DL. But, he'll probably have to be on the active roster, or someone will claim him as he has shown some promise...unless the last two PS games expose him.
