someone needs to grab rosen and tell him "when you are throwing the ball away you throw it out of bounds where it cant be intercepted not up the middle of the field. throw it to someone on the bench or a cheer leader, if they intercept it, it doesn't count." I thought the mental part of the game was supposed to be his strength.

Another young guy - Nichols CB had 5 tackles including 2 for loss. His night also included a sack. Disappointed Chris Campbell did not play as he must have got hurt in practice this week. PP21-Taylor-Benwikere have been solid but the next tier after those 3 is too big of a drop off currently.
At LB wonder if Navarro Bowman is keeping himself in shape ... surely he would like to "stick it" to his former team.
BTW: Need to see Brice Butler back next week vs. his old team -- would love for him to have a solid game against the "boys" and then teamed up with Fitz-Kirk-Chad Williams/JJ Nelson at least provides a functioning WR group especially if the young guns can step up when season starts.

I saw him on special teams at the beginning of the game. He bounced off the kick returner like a ping pong ball.

I thought the mental part of the game was supposed to be his strength. He isn’t used to some of those jail breaks with giant athletic men in his face. You would think he would be a bit better at that, but he will learn. I am glad he is messing up a little, need teaching situations and dont want it coming too easy for him and getting bigger head.

historically cards have overvalued ol on the roster and ignored GLARING areas of need...after 2 games its clear that we need depth at ol, dl and lb. with mccoys short passing game I think wr's will be ok-not great but ok...corner may be alright as well-pp, taylor and bene-ok-if 4rth corner is only playing because of injury. imho smith has shown his shortcomings in pass protection and has 2 false starts in 3 quarters.
with a good offseason next year-getting the right free agents and another good draft and cards could be good for years-if its a bad offseason and poor draft...
imho sk needs to draft guys that can play and not try to outsmart the world drafting guys with measurable and potential buy not much production at major college level
my opinion and a dollar will still get you a soda out of some machines

I thought the mental part of the game was supposed to be his strength. Until that dump throw is intercepted, I dont mind that he does that. In fact he does the exact thing Russell Wilson does. When hes getting sacked, he quickly tosses the ball away, and thus its just an incomplete and not a sack. DRIVES ME INSANE. But so far we've seen Rosen do it a bunch of times, and it hasnt gotten picked. So apparently hes pretty good at it. Let him keep doing it. Not taking sacks can mean winning games. If he starts causing turnovers, thats when you have a talk

1st Big test for O and D will be the next game at the pokes 8-26-18. Have to have improvement overall as a team, all phases. Team has 8 days to get ready. Just notice that by the 9th week Bye the Cards will have played 4 Divisional games. And both 9'er games in October. And there will be 5 home games vs 3 road in that 1st 8 weeks. Better make some serious hay that 1st 8 weeks. Yes I mean the D needs to play against a real live NFL starting QB, trust me, no team gets 3-4-5 turnovers/game and the Saints ran the ball right down their throats with the 1's in the game.

Do remember that Buc and Bynes have not been in either PS game. . Nor has Golden yet to play either until off the PUP. So it's Not the full D we will see in Regular season play.

I think Niche is going to be a bust. All hype, but no sand in the bottom. Doing the same thing here as he did in college. Couple good play then he disappears. Guy has all the tools except the most important one. Wanting it !

I agree but not playing against a starting QB makes everything an even bigger grain of salt to me. You both make good points.. I’ve thought about the team a lot in the last couple days. I’m impressed with Rosen, but he’s a rookie.. I’m glad Bradford is here, but for how long? There are lots of holes on this team, IF the young guys play well, the cards could be a surprise.. IF Bradford stays healthy, IF DJ stays healthy, IF the Defense plays strong, IF the dink-and-dunk offense scheme is successful in today’s NFL. Way to many IF’s in my opinion.. I just want to enjoy watching the Cards play well.. I’m still thinking 8-8 will be a successful season this year.. I hope I’m wrong, and they make the playoffs. It’ll be an uphill climb. IMHO

This Cardinal fan feels much better after watching this preseason win, as opposed to the one the week before.
I see reason for hope.

So far the starters on the O-Line have done well keeping Bradford and Rosen, for the most part, upright. Loved the footwork of Rosen in the pocket and the accuracy of his passes. Even on the PI on Nelson, the ball was dropped right in there. Cardinal fans have much to look forward to going forward.

As long as we beat the seapuke’s and 49ers and Also the rams. The rams could fall on their face, and they have some HUGE cap issues in the future. This Cardinals fan can’t wait to watch the Ram’s fall on their face. I’d also enjoy watching coach double rainbow be forced out in Seattle. And last but not least please, please let Garrapalo (sp) be a bust. It’ll set them back for years.. :-)

1. Rosen looks great behind a good OL. He throws LAZERS. The tightest spiral ive ever seen. 2. Mike Iupati looks amazing. I dont know what happened but hes playing like his 25 year old All-Pro young self. 3. Mason Cole is doing an outstanding job as starting Center. Doesnt look like a rookie at all. 4. The DL is void of talent and it shows. Bunch of backups and journeymen and busts. Breaking news: Nkemidche hurt again. Cut that bum. 5. In no universe does Glennon deserve to make this team as the #3 QB over Kanoff. Kanoff is no superstar but hes better than Glennon, period. 6. Not terribly impressed by the RB's behind David. 7. Kirk made a couple nice catches, good to see. Otherwise im really not impressed by this WR group. WE WANT AUSTIN WOLF!! 8. Mccoys play calling is so boring. BA ball spoiled us. 9. PENALTIES. Jeez what happened? This team has no discipline on the OL. 10. Bene is a turnover machine. That guy easily makes the 53. ZAZ my man...drinking the Austin Wolf Kool Aid. I like it! Keep it up! Austin is gonna work hard this week and hopefully have a great debut against Dallas and make this team!
