Good read on our 7th rounder!

Every once and a while you find a gem in the later rounds. Hope the Cards found one in this guy. It's all about the coaching up for kids like this. He seems to have everything else it takes.

I can definitely see him as an eligible receiver on goal line situations. He might even get thrown to.

He played TE 1st year in college at 220 lbs. He also played basketball.

Will the skinny little Kicker from Kansas State K Matt McCrane 5'10" 165Lbs (JJ Nelson size) actually have a realistic shot at replacing Phil Dawson?

I like this pick a lot. The kid seems very athletic. I like the potential and hopefully he can be a multi-dimensional type player. I think they try to develop him as a tackle, TE, or H back type player.

You heard how SK was quoted to say that his 36" vertical jump was "off the boards". Possible goal line TE that can jump after chuck and release? Is 6'6" and played basketball so can go up for the ball.

Since he also played some D in his 1st year or 2 and again with that vertical jump, I can see ST usage for blocking FGs as well. New ST coach Jeff Rodgers has to be considering this as well.

Harlan Miller was a 6th rd pick in 2016. Peli Anau was an UDFA pick up last year that made the PS.
