Have always loved this show.
My impressions from watching the opening segment.
There is a lot bigger expectations of the Browns this year. They have signed some guys no doubt.
Hue Jackson is a terrible head coach. Dude quit running around the field and giving high fives and hugs to everyone. My sympathies do go out to him he just lost his mother and brother.
Jarvis Landry is a beast. This guy would have been an amazing pickup. He can play and he's a leader among men. We really blew it not getting this guy. He would have been an amazing compliment to Larry.
I have no idea what to make of Tyrod Taylor or Baker Mayfield YET. They both have supposedly looked pretty good so far but its early. My initial impression is they really want Taylor to step up and start. Gives Baker some time. Stanton? expensive clip board carrier.
The defensive coordinator Greg Williams is a big blow hard. I find it hard to believe this guys going to be believable to the players. He claims very loudly to the players he passed over 7 jobs to take the Browns one. Right fella.

I cannot fathom how a guy who coached his players "kill the head, the body will die" is allowed in the NFL. He was the DC of New Orleans in the playoff game when Kurt got knocked into retirement.
and even if he werent a dangerous coach, hes just a loudmouth POS in general. Id headbutt him with my helmet on and cave his forehead in.

Jarvis Landry caught 112 passes last year, yet failed to reach 1,000 yards. He's not worth that giant 5-year, 75 million dollar contract he got from the Browns. Him and Fitz aren't compliments because, at this point in Larry's career, they are practically the same player. We need outside receivers since Larry and Kirk are both best in the slot.

Kirk? Who is that? Really, he has had a bad camp and nothing should be expected out of him at this point.

The guys is a tool and anyone that would hire a DC that was suspended a year for putting bounties on opposing players is suspect as well. But hey....it's the Browns.

I love Jarvis Landry, always have. You Can’t say we blew it on him. There are 31 other teams out there and you have nothing (that I know of) to even hint he had interest in being here. People act as if it’s solely on the Cards whether we sign these free agents or not. Not everyone wants to be in Az.

Where are you getting this from? Not being raved about doesnt exactly equal BAD camp. Not comparing the two at all, but how much did you hear about Boldin before the opening game against Detroit?

But man this guy is a beast with leadership abilities. And we had a hole there.......

In the same episode he admits he's not a very vocal guy. He's getting pissed off at his receiving core in the 1st week of camp for what? Their best receiver Josh Gordon isn't hurt and hasn't even shown up to camp. I doubt Landry tells him anything when he decides to show up. Landry knew the cameras were rolling and played up to them. Jarvis Landry isn't a beast. He runs short routes because he doesn't have great long speed, yet doesn't have the size to go over the middle. David Johnson (11.5) averages more yards per reception than Landry (10.1).

And will take cheap shots on DBs who have their backs to him. Put his helmet in the middle of Marcus Cooper's, or was it Branch's back, in the Miami Rain game the Cards played there in 2016. Lost respect for him right then and there.

Lost respect for him right then and there. You're a very predictable poster. You will denigrate the opposition at every opportunity . And you will attack anybody who dares to critique your Cardinal players. Is this how you judge a person. By one mistake he makes? Do you know he's a deeply religious man? How blasphemous of you. I'll pray for you.

I wanted Landry and the guy is a beast. He would have made this wr group amazing. Fortunately, the Cards have a lot of talented receivers spread out through the rbs, TEs and receiver rooms. They will find their clear #3 and #4. 5 receivers thru time. And not sure what you're watching but Landry is a strong, physical guy perfectly capable of going over the middle and often does. Just think what he could do with a great quarterback.
