Hopefully he'll be alright. Very important role in this defense.

Let him heal for as long as it takes. I wouldn't mind if he never practices at TC this year again. Injuries happen, so it's important now to see how backups can handle a starting role today rather than week 6.

Hopefully it's mild and 2-4 weeks recovery time. What scares me is the MRI and if their are torn ligaments.

I worry a bit about how Buc handles his new chores in this new d-structure. Handling injuries is the key to a good team, hard to deal with them this early though, we caught a break here it seems.

According to Odegard, Buc has had an MRI and no damage to anything was found.
He is expected to be out 1 to 3 days as a precaution.
That's good news.

I like Buc a lot and feel he's underrated. But his skinny little body is a concern injury wise.

I've always like Bucannon. I'll never forget when he laid out our guy when he hit the ball carrier and drove him through the other defender in his rookie year. He plays hard but is a little slow covering the defenders.

I thought it was interesting that last night's hollywood-movie-style preseason game intro-hype-sequence thing (showing studio shots of 6 selected starters, next to their names against white backgrounds while triumphant music played) included Bucannon along with CJ, DJ, Bradford, P2 and Fitz. Nice to see him get the "star treatment" even though he wasn't ready to play yet. Nothing new here: www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/news/cardinals-deone-bucannon-sitting-out-preseason-opener/
