Bruce Arians on the Doug & Wolf show cited Chad Williams as his choice for potential #2 receiver - FWIW. BA surprised me with this so hopefully Chad was showing some skills late in the year in practice since we never saw it translate on the field BA's word cant be trusted for anything. Hes entertaining for general football insight, but otherwise anything he says about a specific player is going to be extremely bias. Dont forget BA wanted Bettcher to be our new HC. BA is the ultimate boys club guy

Chad was on the radio again yesterday. Was revealing in how much more humble he sounded. Wasnt bragging about how he was going to be the greatest receiver ever. He said he just feels more "comfortable" and knows the routine now. The first year may have overwhelmed the small school kid.

His measurables are outstanding, and he came to camp in shape. With a simplified offense, I am hoping that he can make an impact. It would be nice to see both him and Kirk contribute. That would be a huge help to the receiving core, especially as Larry's road winds down.

I see Fitz, Kirk, DJ, JJ, CE as the main receivers with Bryce around 50 or so catches and a couple other to be determined wrs make up the main receiver core; which I expect Chad Williams to be a part of, maybe 40-50 catches, and a few scores. TE seals Jones, Holmes. Maybe a couple other rbs also join receiver sets on occasion.

Don't sleep on TJ Logan either. I looking forward to Chad stepping up this year. Our WR corps could make a good turn around this season.
Sidenote: If TJ can show in Preseason what he showed in the Hall of Fame game against Dallas our ST return man will be good, very good.

Sidenote: If TJ can show in Preseason what he showed in the Hall of Fame game against Dallas our ST return man will be good, very good. Bingo ... TJ Logan has been reported to looking extremely fast at practice and with MUCH, MUCH better ST coaching, TJ Logan could be a real difference maker.
Other notes while listening to 98.7 today are: - Budda Baker says the defense should no doubt be top 5.
- Larry Fitzgerald telling the media they might want to go put some money on Cards winning over 5.5 games.
- Coaches/Front office are thrilled with Mason Cole.
- Offensive Line could be a real strength ... unlike past years.
- Ricky Seals-Jones could be a big beneficiary of the McCoy offense... [Comment: If RSJ breaks out this season, the Cards will be better than last year's record.
Boy -- if 3 UDFA's make the team and draft picks Rosen-Kirk-Cole-Edmonds are locks to the 53, while later draft picks CB Chris Campbell and OL Korey Cunningham have a chance for the 53 but are practically guaranteed to at least the practice squad ..... this draft class could be ALL - WORLD !!! I want to see game action but CB Chris Campbell might even beat out Brandon Williams on the roster.

Has anybody heard wether Ricky Seal-Jones will be getting punished by the league over his arrest incident? Be a shame if he does.

I expect TJ Logan to be used as a change of pace rb, KR and to have a several big plays this season. This guy truly is a weapon. I could see Kirk to return punts and Logan to be the KR. They want Logan fresh for kickoffs so I believe they will put him in on offense on occasion but limit the touches to a few a game. I could see the Cards designing some receiving plays and a few exotic run plays to take advantage of Logan's speed.

I like that McCoy is the Coordinator for Chad Williams. His style of offense plays to the strengths of Williams with quick throws and getting out into space, getting YAC. Might as well take advantage of Chad's physicality being that he is a decent sized, strong receiver.
