All I want out of him is to stay on the filed long enough to get the O line playing well for Rosen.

He was one of the what? No one, not even Sam Bradford, believed this. 73% accuracy and 23 TDs to 5 INTS. I dont know what more you want. You’re still doing this all stat, no context thing, huh?

Here's my BS stat, wack context admission: 54.2% of my excitement for watching Bradford lead the Cardinals comes from the Vikings 2017 season opener. So what if ESPN recently ranked Bradford right at the cutoff for a Tier 3 QB (the last spot above the Tier 4 QBs). Durability was a main issue, which doesn't factor easily into their own criteria/descriptions of "Tiers".
Fine, he might degenerate by week 3. I hope that doesn't happen, because my "when he is healthy" construct is strong. Did you see him in that Saints game?!

I aint going anywhere. Bradford put up elite stats. You said "context matters". What context? He put up those numbers over 18 straights games. Thats a full season of elite play. What context are you talking about?

His game being composed of dump offs & checkdowns, which that & injuries has been pretty much his career. Not once, has he ever been in the same conversation as Rodgers, Brady, or Brees. Or perhaps even a Russ, Cam, Ben, or Ryan. Not to mention, that’s 1 decent season out of how many where he has played at least 10 games? 5?

He's made over 100 million dollars and never won more then 8 games. pundits will point to brilliant stretches as evidence this guy is GOOD. Durability is a key factor in being a QB in this league. He's beyond bad luck. Now into his thirties , with multiple knee surgeries and scar tissue he's going to turn it around and lead us to the promise land? Laughable.

I’m to the point where I fully expect Johnson, Humphries, Iupati, Bradford and at least a few more guys to be on IR by the end of the year. I seriously hope they stay healthy because I think the Cards can make some noise if everyone does but I have no faith in any of them to play a full season.
I’m jaded like that, devastating injuries seem to have become the theme for the Cardinals

Let me ask you, if a TD is converted via 3 yard checkdown or 40 yard deep bomb....what difference does it make? 7 points is 7 points. I dont care how they come. You can checkdown your way to a superbowl if you have a good D. Points are points are points are points are points. Doesnt matter how they come.

As an example, so you’re telling me a guy that lives his life throwing nothing but 3-5 yard passes in which the RB/WR/TE takes it 30+ yards getting valuable YAC/doing all the work is just as impressive as a guy able to throw it into tight windows over 10+ yards? That’s like saying Bradford was just as good as Rodgers or Brees in his best year, which everyone knows, is a clear-cut lie. Also, answer my other question, why couldn’t he play like that consistently for the seasons he played at least 10 games?

Sam Bradford is on our team and poised to be the starter this year and a lot of you just want to bitch and moan about it instead of hoping he plays well enough to win us some games. Get off the negative band wagon and at least look at what he can do when things go well instead of bellyaching about when they don't. No one here knows about how this season will turn out and I for one am willing to give him a pass and hope to see the Bradford that has lit up some pretty good teams in the past.

So what your implying here is as fans we should sit back passively and accept whatever management puts on the field. No analysis or opinions in a fan forum. Just cheering and pass the popcorn.
Here's another swig of the Cardinal Koolaid for you.

It's getting old, tiresome and too repetitive. You can only say the exact same thing different ways so many times. It's time to wait and see what develops now, everyone's opinion on this topic is extremely well documented. I can't wait for training camp and the season to start.
