Florio looks smart saying that about Bradford but only after Rosen was selected at #10 by Bidwill and Keim. Everybody knows Bradford has to prove himself at ARI even before the Rosen miracle happened.

Yep there is nothing worse than not having a QB that a team can build around. So far Rosen seems to have a good head on his shoulders. And that’s a big part of being “the guy” he will have his ups n downs, but hopefully he will take it slow and learn about being a pro. When he gets his chance grab it by the throat and never let go. Don’t read the papers, just trust your team, bring your lunchbox to work and earn the job. This fan base has wanted a young QB since Matt L. Washed out. I won’t give up on this kid, until he gives up on himself. GO CARDINALS!!

Being able to "expect nothing" from Sam Bradford is actually a luxury of the likes that Cardinals fans are not used to. This time of year I always muster up high hopes and usually success depends on expecting everything from a QB most are predicting not to make it through the season. "Expecting nothing" would put most cards fans in a win-win situation: either Sam Bradford tears it up (the game, not his knee) or the Chosen One takes over.
What's actually going to happen and other, unexpected scenarios that might play out is part of what makes this season so exciting.
I'm not as convinced of Bradford's impending injury as everyone in the media is. The talking heads on NFL network are sure it will be by week 3. Degenerative condition or not (who knows?), it just feels more like the guy everyone says will go down will actually stay up and meanwhile some young qb (ala Watson, Wentz) that no one expected will have their numbers called in the injury lottery. The NFL is weird like that.
Best case scenario for me is that Bradford stays healthy, has his comeback season wearing red, becomes the debutante of free agency and Rosen starts next year taking over for a team that went to the play-offs. The downside is that the Cardinals take a year off from "building the team around Rosen", but with proper planning they should be farther along that route than they are right now (the office is smart enough that a year of consideration is only going to help the team eventually gel with Rosen).
Maybe it's not the most likely scenario, but I think it might be just as likely as any other and it's the one I'm hoping for.
Whether anyone will be buying Bradford Cardinals jerseys is another question...

Anyone who expects Sam Bradford to stay healthy is a sucker, plain and simple. I'm not saying it's his fault or anything, it's not but that's the reality.
In all honesty, I never understood the argument people made when they said "Bradford has proven that when he can stay healthy,he can be productive enough to lead a team to the playoffs.'
My response is simply "when has Sam Bradford ever done that?"
His BEST season where he's played 15+ games is either 21 or 13 or 20-5 and that's not good enough to lead most teams to the playoffs.
My #1 goal is to get through this season with Josh Rosen healthy. Everything else is butter.

I would like to see Rosen start 5-7 games this year. If Sam/Glennon can get us the rest, BONUS.

Didn't bother reading, all I can say is WOW! What COURAGE it takes for a hack writer to pen a piece saying that an oft-injured QB won't do anything! I'm getting a little bit teary eyed just thinking about this man's courage. Hopefully someday he will write a piece about how third and long is typically a passing down.

As a Viking (when healthy) he was one of the best QBs in the NFL. I imagine as a Cardinal (when healthy) he'll be very good as well. I dont understand all these people who thinks hes suddenly worse than Stanton.

Mike Florio is the second coming of Nostradamus based on his predictions below for last season so we should treat his words as gospel AFC 1. Patriots, 2. Steelers, 3. Broncos, 4. Titans, 5. Chiefs, 6. Texans Wild card: Broncos over Texans, Titans over Chiefs Divisional round: Patriots over Titans, Steelers over Broncos Conference Championship: Patriots over Steelers NFC 1. Packers, 2. Seahawks, 3. Panthers, 4. Eagles, 5. Giants, 6. Saints Wild card: Panthers over Saints, Giants over Eagles. Divisional round: Packers over Giants, Seahawks over Panthers. Conference Championship: Packers over Seahawks. Super Bowl: Patriots over Packers.

also said by Aris. from the beginning.
Sam was a public relations signing to keep the fan base from jumping over the cliff.
Now that we have Rosen it also gives the kid a few games perhaps to adjust to being a pro.
Bradford is not even playing 8 games this year. Last year he started week one, had a brilliant game, and was never heard from again. Dude was not even "hurt" during the game.

Florio, et al.
So many people have set the bar so low for Bradford that if he wins Game 1 v. WASH, in their minds Bradford will still be a worthless never-was QB.
Sam is brittle. We got it. He cannot run far and will get smashed. The OLine has a big protection job on its hands.

I dont know what more you want.
