Leonard has missed far more important shots than the 4-bounce 2-pointer he made from the right corner on Sunday night. During the 2013 NBA championship playoffs, Spurs v. Heat, first year player Leonard missed two consecutive free throws in the last minute of game 6. he clearly choked. Those missed free throws cost the Spurs that game. A win would have brought home the Trophy. Instead, Miami won games 6 and 7 at home and that team took home the NBA trophy, their 2nd. Leonard was no more than a bottom of the stat sheet number after the game but those numbers really hurt. I cannot forgive NBA star's choking like that. He did make up for the choke the next year. San Antonio knocked off Miami 4 games 1 to take home the Trophy, their 5th. Kawhi Leonard was named the Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP).
IMV, Leonard got what he deserved at Toronto. A good bounce. Yea for him. Today he is just going through the motions at Toronto. The Celtics or Knicks may buy his contract if the teams can find $300M. HA.

I think the further Toronto goes the more likely he stays especially over teams Toronto is better than. He missed a free throw which let Philadelphia tie it up but he was so fired up from that missed free throw he wanted to make the game winner so he was definitely motivated to play another game for Toronto unlike his last season with San Antonio where he didn't even play in the playoffs for them.

Leonard is a monster for Toronto now. Can he keep the streak alive? Down 2 games to 1 in the NBA eastern conference playoffs, he turned on the jets and helped the Raptors crush Milwaukee Bucks in game 6 on Saturday night. Toronto Raptors plays Golden State Warriors for the NBA Championships starting this week. Golden State is heavily favored to win the NBA championship AGAIN. The Bucks learned the hard way that favored teams don't always win. Leonard is capable of elevating any team's play as he did repeatedly in San Antonio prior to the trade.

Raptors will have home court advantage which will be huge because Golden State goes on those runs especially at home. Also they swept the Warriors & beat the team eliminated the best record in the league.
I have been right about Toronto all season long unlike people who get paid to do this.

Box and One defense The biggest weakness of a box-and-one defense is its vulnerability to a pass to the middle of the "box". As there is no defensive player responsible for this area of the court, good passing offensive teams are often able to exploit the gap. A pass to the middle of the box or to the top of the box will generally yield a short-range shot from inside the key. Or, it will “collapse” the box, causing the four zone defenders to fall inside the key and, upon a second pass, yielding a wide open and uncontested look from the perimeter. It is for this reason that the box-and-one defense is not often seen in professional leagues. Notable exceptions were the end of game 2, game 3 and game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals between the Toronto Raptors and Golden State Warriors. The Raptors went to a box-and-one defense late in game 2 to try to shut down Steph Curry as he was the lone offensive scoring threat once Klay Thompson left with an injury and Kevin Durant was ruled out. This tactic stopped the Golden State Warriors from scoring for over five minutes, and the Raptors almost pulled out the game, despite having given up an 18-0 run at the start of the third quarter. In game 3, the Raptors once again employed the same defense against the beleaguered Warriors team and this time came away with a resounding win to go up 2-1 and regain home court advantage. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Box-and-one_defensePay close attention, and you’ll notice that Toronto coach Nick Nurse experiments with several things just enough1 to engineer an advantage for his team. He illustrated a willingness to try, more than once, some rare defenses that are seen more at the middle-school level than in the NBA. The 51-year-old, who had coached almost everywhere before this, found success toward the end of Game 2 when he sent his team out to contain Stephen Curry with a box-and-one after Thompson went down that night. Using that look — and holding Curry scoreless with it in Game 2 — helped the Raptors feel comfortable tightening the screws on Curry with the same defensive scheme in Game 6, after Thompson was forced to exit again. fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-raptors-championship-doesnt-deserve-an-asterisk/
