The demise of Seattle continues. Looks like Kam has announced his retirement. The niners have still a lot of work ahead of them, the rams well they paid a high price to win now. I really like how things are shaping up for the Cardinals in the future in this division.

Now let’s lure Earl Thomas over next year and pair him up with PP21 and Buddha Baker, plus a first or second round corner and DL.

I'm interested in winning. Whatever it takes, SK, do it.

This division has a lot if question marks. Every team is one big question mark.
Will the Rams be as good as last year ? Goff has an amazing year considering the year before. They still have a stout D, and their back end is better than last year. Question with them is......Was last year an anomaly ?
SF is another one with a lot of questions. Are they on the right track for a rebuild, and how long will that rebuild take ? Jimmy G won 5 games at the end of the year. His stats were not all that good. Really think Lynch is an up and comer as a GM. Time will tell for that bunch.
Seattle is Seattle. Their stout D has taken a sever hit. Then on offense they can't seem to run the ball anymore. They could wind up anywhere from 1st to 3rd in the division. Still think SF winds up last.
Cards finally have their QBOF. They also have some good players. They also have a lot of holes to fill. Think they are 1 more good solid draft away from contending. Not only for the division but for a play off spot. We also don't know if Wilks will be a success as a head coach.
One think about this division. Every team seems to have their QB in place for at least the next 6 years. Barring any significant injuries. How these QB play will determine how far this division has come. It will also decide who in time rules the NFC west.

It was not an anomaly. We need to accept the new reality that the Rams are a very good team. They have a very good, innovative young coach. They have the best defensive player in the NFL (Aaron Donald). Even if all else falls apart, having those 2 guys will always keep that team competitive. Will they ever win a superbowl in their current 4-5 year window? Who knows. Maybe.

The 49ers lost five games in a row by a field goal or less, 2 in OT, without a competent QB. They have a better coach now and Garapolo, who I’ve like since his draft. Rams are all in for a year, but after that still have a young QB, RB and solid defensive pieces...similar to us. Seahawks are about to need a rebuild as their running, scrambling QB fights Father Time without an Oline.

Like 2017, ARI is still chasing 3 NFCW teams in 2018. Until we have a reliable and winning QB, that trend won't change.

Like 2017, ARI is still chasing 3 NFCW teams in 2018. Until we have a reliable and winning QB, that trend won't change. Everybody in the Division is chasing the "3 other NFCW" at this time of year. You really can not say this is just like 2017. That's very premature. And every team in the Division is different than they were at the close of the 2017 season as well.
Dog days of summer broodings and 2nd guessing. That is what is going on.
