I was lucky enough to do some work in the home of the ex-head of Cardinals security a few year's back. He was forthright enough to tell me a few inside secrets about the Cardinals. One was the onset of Alzheimers disease of Bill Bidwill, and some wild away game spending spree's Michael Bidwill would have to reign in his father on. But the one that was most interesting to me was his description of a personal feud between Michael Bidwell and the ex-president of NAU, and how it led to the Cardinals leaving Flagstaff for preseason camp. Logistics and trends aside, Flagstaff camp was one of my favorite yearly traditions, and I still refuse to attend preseason camp here in Glendale, even though I live very close by, and still hold out hope that someday, somehow, the Cardinals might resume the tradition, with the necessary upgrades made to NAU of course. With millions spent on baseball spring training facilities here, I can't understand why a similar investment couldn't be made to we can resume our late summer traditional trek up the hill to watch our Cardinals in more beautiful, comfortable, and intimate settings

yup..it was a down right crime when they quit the Flagstaff camp in the name of money..lol..shave 1-1/10th off of and over paid TE or ILB`s pay and have enough money for 10 flagstaff camps a year (i know it don`t work that way )
