Your link has some extra junk on the end that needs to be cleaned up. Hey JJ, if you want to be more than a one-trick pony, how about learning to catch the ball?

For whatever reason, your link is not working for me.
As far as JJ goes, I have mixed feelings. Yes he can hit a homerun but how often does that happen. He will never outwrestle the ball from his defender.....well almost never. JJ is fast, but you need more than that. If he can be a Mel Gray or Roy Green, then I'm all in, but I have yet to see that.
I think our new coach will be able to determine just what he can be. I'm all for a speedy receiver, but he's got to do more than make the occasional long pass reception.

JJ realizes BA isn’t his coach any more, so he has to bring more than speed.

I was surprised just how much the little guys like Smoke and JJ got knocked around throughout the game be bigger defensive players. They knock them on their ass every play if the could, saw Brown just run to avoid big hits away from the play. Catch the ball, get tough and you survive. Fitz is one of the best.

I am a bit curious to see that if Mike McCoy runs a more ball control style offense will have a net effect of opening up an opportunity for JJ to get behind the defense more often. With BA, they knew what was coming and defended against it. Maybe with McCoy we won't see the DB's lining up so far off the ball to hang with him when he tries to outrun them to the end zone.
Of course JJ has to be a little skittish not knowing what the new coaching regime is expecting.

JJ is a great receiver when he catches the ball and has the support to do his thing. He isn't going over the middle often because of his size. He reminds me of Marvin Harrison if he had better hands and was a little bigger. I'd keep him.

Of course JJ has to be a little skittish not knowing what the new coaching regime is expecting. With BA there was a threat of going deep every series, every 3 downs. It would be foolish to have Nelson in as a decoy throughout the whole game. You only get 11 guys on the field, with 6 being OL and QB. It sounds like our offense will be built on the run and quick shorter passes, with others creating space and blocking downfield. Maybe Nelson can create space but he won’t be blocking much. If he’s only put in situationally it will be easier to guard him deep. Use his speed on quick slants, to open up space for other guys, and for occasional deep shots and he may be ok.
