I watched it a couple years ago. Seemed like a witch hunt to me.
These guys know they are putting their health and body on the line. The excuse of not knowing ended a long time ago. At least they get compensated well. I have a high school football injury that still hurts to this day, freaking high School! Got my bell rung a couple times too. The first thing I did when it happened, was hide it, act like nothing happened. It's the nature of an athlete. Be tough, play more, don't let your job get taken because you had to sit out.
The prevention will most likely never be perfect, but at least they are trying to reach out to younger leagues to spread the awareness to kids playing at young ages.
One other thing is they just assume that all brains are the same. Like anyone that played in the NFL will have severe repercussions mentally and have issues, and it is a possibility, sure. Not saying that they all won't, but, a lot don't. The individual has a lot to do with it too.

I’m sure at least 1/2 of them were pretty severe concussions. Light and sound bothered me for several days. And Just like you, I got up and continued playing. I hope that the safety of the players continues to improve, but bigger and faster players will cause more concussions. The players are aware and are well compensated for the danger posed by playing the game, but sometimes it’s the only way to become successful for some. The problem I have with the situation is they do go to college, if they don’t take advantage of the educational opportunity, it’s thier own fault. A person doesn’t have to make several million dollars playing a pro sport to enjoy a successful and happy life. I also think that college athletes should be PAID!!

The amount of revenue that comes from college sports is crazy. Where the heck does all that go? The movie only really focused on the NFL part of it. Hence, why I felt it was a witch hunt.

oy gpes tp coaches salaries, athletics directors, and title 9. they have to spend as much on womens sports as they do mens so the sports that do make money goes to enable the sports nobody will go to see. in college it would be like demanding the wnba got paid as much as the nba, that the girls should be making as much as lebron even tho everybody knows who LeBron is and most people cant tell you who the wnba players are.
