I want to see how this reconstructed O line gets the job done. SK keeps trying but so far hasn't hit enough to give us a good O line. I'm also afraid this isn't going to be the year either. I just don't see Smith as an upgrade. Pugh to me is questionable. Giants O line last year wasn't any better than the Cards.

Giants O-line last year was an absolute disaster. They didn’t even consider resigning Pugh, it’s going to be up to Mike McCoy to protect the quarterbacks this year, run the ball or get it out of their hands as early as possible. They aren’t going to have any time to throw
It’s not just the Cards either, pass rushers are just so much more athletic than offensive linemen all over the league now
That being said, I’m pumped for season! I really do think the Cards are going to surprise a lot of people, even with a subpar line

The Giants also had cap issues. 247sports.com/nfl/new-york-giants/Bolt/New-York-Giants-plan-to-resign-Justin-Pugh-if-the-price-is-right--115585107/

It very well may have been because of the salary cap issues, but he’s said they didn’t even give him a call, and I’m sure his injury history didn’t help. That line was awful even when he was healthy though, and the New York media let them know all about it.
But like I said, I’m optimistic about this season, I kind of wish they had kept Veldheer at RT over Smith but I don’t see the line being any worse than they were last year. If everyone can stay healthy, I think the Cards will be better than expected

2 of the best qbs will face each other if Rivers plays and Rosen gets a couple quarters.
