The forum needs to have less moderators to the point they're 50% of the people that correspond on this site.
But come on man throw the hammer down just let me know when we can start talking about the Seattle game My Lord let this sucker grow your first goal should be numbers and then worry about putting things in categories might I say anally until we have a robust group of people that are exchanging ideas in a manner that lifts our numbers.

Good morning, JAB. Just wondering, what is your suggested solution to the ratio of moderators to people? Before framing an answer, be aware of these Forum statistics: Current membership: 561. Members online last 24 hours (November 16-17): 9 moderators, 35 members, and 975 guests. Regarding a Moderator/Administrator headcount, it is 7: 2 Global Moderators, 2 Moderators, and 5 Administrators (some folks are dual-hatted). About the Seattle game, talk away, my friend! FLCF has a live thread for that purpose. He is posting mega-hyperlinks chockfull of team statistics, background, and forecasting. I will open the Game Day Thread early Saturday morning so members can get their mojo up for tailgating and game viewing. I'm 100% with you about lifting the Forum's numbers. What online process(es) do you recommend to lift Forum numbers? I will share with you my disappointment about new member registrations not rolling in by the 100s. Almost all registrations are approved <24hrs. After all, the (8-2) Cardinals team is ranked in the top of the NFL teams now. A top-ranking normally would be the honeypot for new Cardinals Forum memberships. The big increase in memberships is not happening though. I look forward to your's and everyone's recommended solutions.

I'll just say this about how this forum is run. I may have few quibbles about this or that, but overall I have very few complaints. Its impossible to please everyone. For a fan made forum, I think this is a dam good one. We have two people here...and we/they know who they are...put a lot of time and effort into this. I have visited other Cardinal forums and this forum is unique when it comes to the kind of information these two put out. Maybe not all appreciates it, but I do. Sure we may only have a small core of consistent contributors, but I'm always amazed at the number guest we have. So many people who may not want to participate in forum type conversations come here for information and just to see what people are thinking. People want to know what we have to say.... We may not be the biggest forum, but we have a lot of followers. We should be proud of that. For the fans by the fans

If I may chime in here.
When I was at the Jaguars game I met Cardinal Rule He has his own you tube channel. It is even monetized a bit. Another fan I met there was talking to me about the forum. He said thats is the old way referring to a forum like ours. The guy likes a live chat on you tube which you can do. Younger fans like that but older fans may not be into that as much. A lot of these you tubers have nfl team sites and they are just hype. Not much in the way of substance. Its mostly day to day rants and raves with no history, no individual stories, not much on research. Its mostly about feelings : Yeah we are winning: or we suck we lost to Carolina. Not mentioning any names but one site has no substance so I dont link it. Its more for a younger crowd. Our format is not the way of the future but it has substance. We put up more hours of content in one day than a you tube site can do in a month
About growth, early in the summer we had 450 members can't remember the exact date, We have grown some since then, I dont expect us to grow much. Its not as glitzy as someone with video and voice talking about the Cardinals. I do reach out to new memmbers. I got the Cardinal Rule to join the forum. He was kind enough each time to give us a shout out and I do the same posting his videos. In a way we are competing but we are non profit. No subscription fees. Just my thoughts

Just my thoughts FLCF This is exactly why Darren Urban and others have done away with NFL message boards. With Social Media and yes YouTube is a social media site they can get feedback but still control the narrative. Forums and message boards are to social media like the landline is to a cellphone. How many people do you know that have landlines in their home? You won’t see Gen X or Gen Z or even millennials you might on rare occasions see Baby Boomers and more of the 65+ age crowd whatever that is. I happen to like forums. I don’t like social media at all and matter fact don’t personally even have a social media but do run social media for a few clients so it is not because of being tech challenged because far from it. I think forums will eventually die out like the typewriter but gonna ride that wave as long as possible.

I'm certainly okay with the Forum changing or keeping up to meet the needs of its members. I will do my best to help that overall process.
Thriving message boards require many people working hard to keep information relevant and interesting. The work is a huge investment of time, and time can be costly. People also need to pay bills and save for the future. Few people work for free anymore. Thus, I can see why the no-fee interactive message boards mostly disappeared and social media platforms with advertisers hogging square inches on cell phones exploded. The billions of cell phone clicks turn into cents and dollars and finally into paychecks.
To me, the huge difference between a high-quality smart forum platform and a dumb social platform is the intellectual rigor and civility applied by platform's administrators and members. Both platforms demonstrate talent and energy. On the one hand (aka a Forum), there are many thinkers, contributors, and givers. Individualism and intellectualism is equally valued. Moreover, there is accountability which helps govern overall quality. On the other hand, (social media) there are many screamers, freeloaders, and takers. Masses and mobs are valued. There is little to no risk and accountability. Administrators gleefully collect user fees. To a large extent, ProBoards operates in the manner of a social media platform. Members self-administer and self-police consistent with ProBoards policies. Pro-Boards basic service is free while top-tier service is fee-based.
Human history offers many examples of centers of excellence (CoE) being overrun or bypassed by competition or change. Macedonia conquered Eqypt. The Catalans conquered Athens. Rome conquered Greece. Germany conquered Rome. Everybody kicked Germany's butt at least one time in the last 1,000 years. And so on. The Cardinals Fan Forum is a football center of excellence for esteemed Cardinals fans located around the world. I am doing my best to keep our dreams alive until we are all conquered by space aliens.

P How do you (we) know it isn't in progress today? Look at what greed and power hunger are doing worldwide now in governments, media, technology, health/medicine, finance and politics - not necessarily in that order.
Outright warfare is no longer needed to achieve a desired result, and given all the UFO activity in recent history, are we being kept too distracted to notice what is happening and has happened already ? Was George Orwell a kindly alien himself, giving us all a warning with his books, "Animal Farm" and "1984"??
For an advanced alien (extraterrestrial) species it would be very easy to achieve total control in a few decades of infiltration and manipulation , and we would think we did it to ourselves....

Therefore, unless you are one of "them" we shall depend on your reporting skills over time. OK? However, when the MIB movies toss in worms, cockroaches etc. it does cheapen the mental image of superior beings a bit. (I hope)

Knobby, when I spot the first alien, I probably will not have a chance to report. And you know what they do to tattletales. They turn them into zombie politicians. LOL!
