Rams/49ers Thursday night. We route for the 49ers. We then win out. We route for Seattle to lose 3 out of its next 4 against (Packers, Vikings, Bears, Rams). We finish 10-7 tied with Rams at 10-7…we go to the playoffs based on tie breaker and put off all this negative talk about KM until after we lose our first playoff game. Deal? 😉 That’s our 17% chance…not the best…but not the worst. 😳 Just need to pass our “choking talents” onto the Hawks for a few weeks. 😊 Stay Positive, right? 👍

That's positive thinking - rely on the performance or lack thereof by competing teams. Better than nothing...
Reminds me of a Monty Python skit where a dismembered Knight claimed to only have flesh wounds! 
But I like your spirit remaining bright... and 17% means it's not hopeless - right?

If we keep playing kyler we will win just enough not to get that top 10 pick mediocrity as long as we keep KM. |

As would I. Granted making the playoffs is a long shot at best....but it is there. Until there is no chance at all, our games will be meaningful and interesting. Something I only dreamed of at the beginning of the season. I think we all got sucked in when we won four in a row and thought we were better than we actually were.....and by the way, a lot of pundits did too. Maybe I'm wrong but I think the bye week hurt us more than helped us. It's like we got too comfortable and lost focus. We were only barely good enough as it was. I think we lost momentum and concentration on the task before us....that applies to both players and coaches. We must win out the rest of the season and hope for few losses of our rivals. Thats not that far fetched. Can we win four in a row agian.....yes we can....but we are going to have to get back to sound tactics that work. Remember, despite some our dismal performances, we have given three of the top teams all they can handle. Including the Vikings 23 -22 two weeks ago and the Bills 34- 28, the Lions 20-13, and we even squashed a few teams this year. Rams 41-10, Bears 29- 9, Jets 31- 6. Yeah, sometimes we suck, but overall, I think we made big strides this year.  |
