I’m not really suggesting anything here. Just analyzing. I’m just comparing (2) guys drafted in the top 10 in the same year. One…your pro typical pocket QB with mobility…and one who is not your pro typical pocket QB…and what the market price was at the time before Daniel Jones was waived and became a free agent. Notice that Jones has played (8) less games than Kyler…so you need to factor in that all his stats would be (8) games more…either in his favor or against it. But I think it’s fair that you all get the drift. The trade off for Kyler is what you get with his legs…yardage wise and TD wise. But not if you aren’t going to use that part of his game in your offense. But…Jones’ yardage rushing and TDs would be more given another (8) games…and salary-wise…less. He is mobile. So…if you want a big armed, tall, strong, smart (Duke Grad), mobile QB in free agency…he’s out there…but…on perhaps on a prove it contract if he winds up being a starter…clearly…he can push Kyler better than any one else mentioned on this board. But he would never come here cause he wants to start…and probably should wherever he goes. And he’s going to say that his salary shouldn’t be that far off from Kyler’s….but less for sure…based on stats alone. But…the tape will show that he’s a pure pocket QB with mobility and probably will do better at his next stop much like Darnold and Smith have done. Fire away. lol
