The Cardinals play 14 different QBs this year…with Brock Purdy, Mathew Stafford and Geno Smith being the only ones we play twice. Out of the 14 QBs we play…only Purdy and Smith were not drafted in the First Round…Purdy #262 overall and Smith #39 overall. Purdy…whom we have already defeated once this year…has benefited greatly from the system he plays in and the offensive talent he is surrounded by…would he be “franchise material” if not in a 49er uniform? 🤔 Smith is with his 4th team…after being shuffled through the Jets/Giants and Chargers before “fitting” nicely into the Seahawks offensive scheme and what they do. Would he be a back-up anywhere else? 🤔 I live in the East…I’ve seen enough of Geno with the Jets and Giants. I’m just not sold on him being equipped to be a Cardinal Killer. If I looked at our schedule beforehand…teams aside…I’d take my chances against Smith every day of the week and on any given Sunday…especially 2x a year. It’s not that he’s bad…no…he’s not…he’s capable…but he’s not someone that should knock you out of the playoffs or beat you like he did last week against the 49ers…oh yeah…that’s right…Purdy was drafted #262. You get my drift? This is a QB we should and need to beat…especially with the guy we drafted #1 overall. KM can not and should not EVER be outplayed or out dueled by someone of the likes of Geno Smith especially if we are to get to where we want to get to…the Division Title and a Playoff Berth. Geno Smith SHOULD NOT EVER be allowed to be a Cardinal Killer…IMHO.

He’s thrown the most INT’s in the NFL this season, 11. Same number of passing TDs. I’m hoping our young CB’s get their hands on a few.

Sounds like you've been spending too much time at the Seahawgs forum by the title you hung out front. Don't forget this IS a TEAM sport, first and foremost. I am expecting the Cards to leave with a W, but how the game plays out remains to be seen. Pretty sure the Hags won't just lie down and roll over at home though. In fact I think they'll be desperate. If they lose this game things won't be lookin' too shiny for Seattle for '24/25. Desperation is the breeding ground for drastic measures, so I just hope our team is well prepared for that kind of mind set.

11 INTs in 10 games. That's proof that QB Geno Smith sprays the football around. The HC's all know that Smith is not an accurate passer, especially if he's on the move outside the pocket. The high football he threw for an easy SEA INT vs. SF was prime example of Smith's poor passing.
So, if I were DC Rallis, I would force Smith to run before he makes a pass. He's also not a skilled runner, so he can be sacked. I could do all that by selective blitzing.
The Cardinals must contain SEA's running game. That's the most dangerous component of their offense. Stop the run game, force Smith to pass. That's how to stop the "Geno Smith Cardinals Killer" theory.

The only thing Broken Jaw has killed is the hopes of the teams in the NFL he has played for. He was the man at UWV and his head hasn't deflated since his pre-NFL stature.
The C-Chicks have taken advantage of the short week and Buc game that was tough on the Niners. They came off their bye and outlasted the Niners with their last drive. The Chicks OL still has issues and the addition by subtraction will hurt them as the season progresses.
The Cards are hungry and healthy and have had the extra time to gameplan and expose the cracks in Aqua city's darling NFL team...MicroSoft is a good way to describe the 2024 Chicks. There will be a 12th man revolt against Ocean-Poultry...yes they do taste like chicken and put chicken in the C, the revolt will happen when the Cards jump on the grunge of the NFL Sunday. The Cards are the better team and will take a commanding lead in the NFC West this week.
Broken Jaw will disappoint the 12th man on Sunday and they will become more vocal about replacing him. The MicroSoft yapper will still talk a good game...he just won't perform well against the Cards. Jaw's was broken in a locker on the Atlantic coast and the final break will happen on the Pacific coast. The guy with a glass jaw throws what he lacks...stones.

I do not like Geno…even though I have liked the Mountaineers and many of their players like Stills and his dad. McDonald doesn’t seem to enjoy his happy meal pick at OC. The NFL jump from UW hasn’t had the value they were hoping for and he is in-line to be axed if the Chicks miss the Playoffs. McDonald also has the task of being a HC and having to coach under a GM who put Carol’s roster in such a poor position with too many draft misses and FA misses. Chick are a soft team with some good players and too many roster holes.

I was listening to a podcast earlier today...I can't remember which one it was.
They mentioned on there that Geno is up there and has made quite a few passes when it comes to throwing deep balls for 20 yards or more...that is what we have to watch out for...

For those who care and with more time than I, might want to look up his record against the Cardinals. He is above .500 for sure. He has hurt the Cards, along with their run game.

Kyler Murray currently #3 QBR at 74.9…Geno Smith currently #20 at 55.4. Yes…it’s a team sport…but the Cardinals and KM need to assert and exploit their distinct advantage at the quarterback position this Sunday…if…in fact…they have an advantage at that position...and…IMO…they do.

I read today that QB Murray has lost to the Seahawks five times in a row. I cannot believe it will be six in a row after Sunday's game.
QB Murray has been 0-5 vs. SEA since before the ACL tear in 2022 and then a year-long IR. Since his activation in late 2023, his performances have steadily improved. He is "in the discussion" for the 2024 MVP award. To be "a candidate" for the award, QB Murray has to win in the playoffs. That's where elite QBs are made.
The Cardinals have won four in a row. They are overachieving, which is precisely what a team on the rise does late in the regular season.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks won one big game last week but are lacking on offense, defence, and special teams overall. QB Smith is part of the problem in Seattle, not part of the solution. HC Gannon will expose Smith's shortfalls and take advantage of every Seahawk's weakness.
