Favourite cardinal of all time.

Ok…I’ve been holding off on this topic. I’m sure we can all point to one person that captured our hearts as Cardinal Fans. And perhaps for many on this board, it centers on Larry’s magically dash to the end zone with just 2:37 left on the clock in our one and only Super Bowl appearance. But to me…the love of the Cardinal Helmet brings me back to Jim Hart to Mel Gray…and then transitions to Neil Lomax to Roy Green…and travels through Kurt Warner and Carson Palmer to Larry Fitzgerald…to the present day of Kyler Murray to Marvin Harrison, Jr. Sprinkle in the electrifying Terry Metcalf and pounding nature of Jim Ottis, OJ Anderson with the guality runs and catches of Larry Centers, Edgrin James and James Conner…and you’ll have some nice memories of them all. Of course…we can never forget Dobler and Dierdorf or Jackie Smith, JV Cain and now Trey McBride. I’ve posted early how Jim Bakken made me so happy during the Cardiac Card days. On defense…you can’t ever forget Larry Wilson…Aneas Williams…Roger Wehierli…Adrian Wilson…Darnel Dockett…Calais…or the dirty bird dancer himself…Karlos Dansby! 😊 Yes…there are many Cardinal favorites that race through my mind…and perhaps none was greater then Larry’s magical dash to the end zone with 2:37 left on the clock…I just hope that I live long enough to be holding up my hands in touch down formation next time with no time on the clock and someone…perhaps my next favorite player…standing in the end zone with the gaming winning Touchdown in the Super Bowl…and of course…wearing a Cardinal Helmet…and I hope all of you die hard Cardinal Fans are within a high five reach of me to celebrate…and smile…and remember…all our favorite Cardinal players that brought us to that point.
