The Cardinals win in dominance over the Jets is a factor in playoff
seeding determination. It is Number 3 on the list I have provided below.
Another tiebreaker is won/lost percentage in common games minimum of four games.
The fact that the Dolphins beat the Rams Monday night adds this to the Cardinals favor.
Of course we don't want it to come down to this but it is an important consideration.
1. Head to head competition is first on the list
Cardinals vs 49ers we are 1-0
Cardinals vs Rams we are 1-0
We have yet to play Seattle but we hold the next tiebreaker
over them as of now
2. Best win-loss tied percentages within the division
We are 2-0 in the division
3. Best win-loss-tied percentage in common games with a minimum of
four games. Miami defeating the Rams was big for the Cardinals for the
tie breaker above. The Rams have already lost to the Bears, Packers and
Dolphins. They did defeat the Chargers & Vikings who the Cardinals have yet to play
So out of the division they are 2-3 as of today 11/12
The Cardinals are 4-4 outside the division With losses to the Bills, Lions Commanders,
and Packers. The wins are over the Jets, Bears, Dolphins and Chargers
The 49ers are 4-2 vs team not in the division They have wins versus Tampa Bay, Cowboys
Patriots and Jets with losses to the Vikings and the Chiefs.
The Seahawks are 4-3 Wins over the Broncos, Patriots, Dolphins and Falcons
Their losses are to the Bills, Giants and Lions
4. Best win-loss-tie percentage in the NFC Conference
The Cardinals are 3-3 in the NFC . I'll let you folks figure the other teams
records out.
