At 6-4 in first place at the bye…the Cardinals have exceeded expectations. Now…it’s time to get greedy. We all want a playoff berth. But…with the success of the teams in the North and the resurgence of the Commanders…it looks like…in order for the Cards to get in…it’s win the division or bust!!! And that’s the same for every other team in the West with so many division games left. Well…we wanted to be in it…and we are…now…it’s time to earn it…from after the bye…to the end of the season…playing meaningful November and December games…personally…I love it!!! 👍😉

I was having serious doubts on predicting 11+ wins in the preseason. The Commander and Packer games were ugly...the other two losses were easier to swallow.
There is a long way to go. I am just happy the team is playing well and getting rewarded with wins.
There are so many more things to clean up...the team is continuing to trend up as the season progresses.

A graphic shown before the game today said our Cardinals had something like the 2nd hardest schedule up until the bye week, and has the 3rd EASIEST schedule after. We are 2-0 in the division. Nobody else looks great, though S.F. is still very good and now has CMC back. The Rams are still a potential threat but it looks like they are heading towards rebuild territory with a new QB IMO. Seattle seems like a paper tiger. Their wins are a reflection of a very easy first half season schedule.
We are in good shape.
I can’t wait until the second half of this season. We are 2-3 wins ahead of where I thought we’d be when I analyzed the schedule and thought we’d end with 8-9 wins. That means I saw around 5 wins coming in the last 7 games. If we manage that, and looking at the schedule we could, we will be an 11 win team and likely win the West!

We’ll see what’s up when the time comes on the other two. We’re getting Darius back and Jonah at RT, so that should make our very good team even better, plus should ready to rock following the bye. Lookin’ pretty optimistic!

Speaking of DRob, what is his issue?
SF's CMC ripped up a calf muscle, got Rx, and is now back and ripping up the opposition. He ran for over 100 yards on his first game back from injury on Sunday afternoon.
Meanwhile, DRob is still the Invisible Man on our Cardinals active roster. I would like to see him at least practicing with the D during pre-game.
The NFC West Division is up for grabs in November, December, and January. When the Cardinals play next, I predict the 49ers will have the same 6-4 record. The Division winner might not be decided until right after Christmas.
The Cardinals have won 4 in a row. Now 6-4. Bye next Sunday. Next game vs. Seahawks, November 24th.
The 49ers have won 2 in a row. Now 5-4. Play Seahawks next Sunday. Easy win. Predict 6-4.
The Rams have won 4 in a row. 4-4. Play Patriots next Sunday. Easy win. Predict 5-4.
The Seahawks have lost 2 in a row. Now 4-5. 49ers next Sunday. Loss projected. Predict 5-5.

Minus divisional games they have Detroit, Buffalo and Green Bay. Niners are not winning all 3. Still wasn’t sold on them yesterday. They may go 1-2. Dolphins could help us tonight

It’s gonna be 7 games where every game in the division matters. I LOVE it. Beats the last few seasons where we were deep into discussing draft position and prospects by mid-November!

I saw this at "Arizona Sport" website and copied it for members. When the team is in the SB conversation, we pay attention. 2% seems like long odds. But I think we are much better and will show it at the final 7 games.
Quote:
Will the Arizona Cardinals make the playoffs? Here are the odds.
New York Times (The Upshot’s simulator) Chances to make the postseason: 54% Chances to win the NFC West: 47% Chances to win the Super Bowl: 2%

I see this team getting more physical and getting better in the process.Feels good to say we control our own destiny. Oh and we are by no means out of the wildcard race. Our remaining schedule if this team gets hot maybe lose two or less I'm not gonna say it get hot and run the table oops I said it. We can beat every team left on our schedule.
