No one is commenting on this important post. It’s almost like folks are afraid to even consider the idea of losing Kyler, because they know it would mean we would be done.
Tune cannot be our QB2 next season. There was a part of me that wanted Tune to play the fourth quarter today, running plays as if he were QB1 playing from behind, just to see where he is in his development. I doubt it would have been pretty.
As for the rest of this season, Monti has the Tenn Titans connections, and should pull all the strings to get Ryan Tannehill off his couch and practicing with the team. He is not retired and supposedly would come back for the right situation.

The trade deadline has passed what do you think are our best options ? Any Quarterback that can beat the Kansas City Chiefs even though it was 5 years ago is worth a very strong look in my book. Check out this performance vs the Chiefs
Tannehill is fearless has a strong arm and some mobilityIt is said that 1. He wants to play for a playoff contender 2. Will he accept a backup role? 3. He has a strong arm 4. Tannehill has actually won two playoff games I don't think another free agent out there has done that Here are the highlights from 2019 GO TO NEXT POST FOR THE HIGHLIGHTS

FLCF, I loved that video from 2019 regarding TEN's comeback win vs. KC in the playoffs. Tannehill was a beast with his arm and legs. Today, I think Tannehill is 37, and a free agent. He's still a big dude. Could he or would he come off the sofa for the Cardinals as a #2? If MO wanted Tannehill as backup insurance for 2024, I'm sure a deal can be worked out. QB Tannehill might be a better option than QB Tune, if called upon in an emergency roll.

I used to be a fan of Tannehil and back when there were many analytics debates tried getting folks to dig deeper into just how well he did a few years back. Having said that, I haven't watched him recently and wonder if he's really got anything left in the tank. I'll leave that up to others who maybe watched him last year. I haven't studied the kid (older dude) is some time.

I think the risk is better than suddenly throwing Tune in should Murray go down. I just don’t want a Ryan Lindley situation ever again in my lifetime. A reminder of when we had to go with backup Lindley in the Carolina playoff game: 57% completions for 82 total yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs, 44.3 rating. www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/1/3/7487709/ryan-lindley-cardinals-panthers-logan-thomas-carson-palmer

I encourage everyone to re read or read the link posted by Dry Heat above
Let that be the lesson here.
You can win with a backup QB but he needs to be experienced. Clayton Tune missed a tush push twice in a row, a simple play.
Arians let his pride get in the way of common sense by letting those two lead us in the playoffs.
