Agreed. Really, really makes me laugh given all the 'he sucks' texts folks posted on the board when we drafted him. If we did the opposite of what several posters wanted when drafting players we'd be super bowl champs when you look at how often several folks are wrong about draft pick evaluation I agree with you. And my humble opinion any professional sports organization spend way more time evaluating the mental health and attitude and attitude and consider that this is important as the physical ability. Without that extreme mental evaluation there's really no way to tell what a player is going to do until they're actually playing and you already paying him. One thing that I would do is we've seen what happened with me Brian is he had a rookie season and wasn't anything special and as you mentioned a lot of people here were calling for his head. Then he got a little better the next year and a lot better the next year. I would like to find out exactly what it was that caused him to improve. His physical abilities didn't improve any so it was a mental improvement but I would like to know what specific things cause that to happen. Huh? (edit: never mind, I was in the middle of my first cup o joe and and it just took me a while to wake up and decipher, "one thing I would SAY is we've seen what happened with McBride."

I can remember many times over the last several decades when Bill and Mike needed to see about 50 of those banners at a game!!

All this talk about an undersized TE with Tiny hands...WTH is going on here! The undersized little Cardinal takes flight over several defenders on a regular basis. Even his teammates are amazed at his athleticism for a 250 LB player. Just imagine if he was full sized…he might sport 87 on his uniform

Good-Rushing over 200 yards...great game for Conner and his 100 yard effort...the win and it being over in three quarters...Demacardo score to end the 1st half...holding Bears to about 50 yards rushing...6 sacks...kicker
Bad-Cards 4 man pass rush and the turnovers...MHJ's performance with a turnover to add to a bad day at the office.
Ugly-Pro-Bears announcers (I used to like Davis)...Bears QB....Bears over-rated defense(that was for Flash) Throwing on second down when Conner was destroying the defense and having to settle for a FG as well as taking an opportunity from Conner to have a TD.
The best...the wins are stacking. Thanks M.T.
The best part is that I out predicted Kurt Warner...ha ha ha

Good: OL. The front five are playing better football every weekend. It takes time for a unit to jell and this front five has figured out how to move DL out of the way for RBs and for two OL to pull right and block downfield creating huge spaces for RB and TE cleanup jobs. KM is not killing it as a passer and doesn't need to do that when the RBs are moving the chains consistently. It was great to see three rushing TDs. That says a lot about the type of offense we have and what to expect in the future.
Bad: WRs. They are still struggling to make space downfield. I include all of them in this criticism. KM can hit the WRs if they separate. Stony hands are a second issue; the third is jumping for a catch when that silly move is unnecessary.
Ugly: It's hard for me to give and F grade to any Cardinals player. The coaches on the sidelines did well. Everybody earned an "A" grade. I expected the Bears DL to be tough on the pass and they did not disappoint, finally sacking KM multiple times. The Bears DL cannont block the run. Lastly, Cardinals turnovers popped up again today. Fortunately, no turnover caused the WIN to be jeopardized.

I loved our young CBs coverage last night against three very good receivers. Led to incompletions and coverage sacks all day. Melton had his best game as a pro.

One thing I think all will agree on....Trey McBride may be the best player on the team. He doesn't have a good game here or there....he is killing it in every game. I wanted a good tight end for so long....now we finally have one. Without him, we would not be 5 and 4. Agreed. Really, really makes me laugh given all the 'he sucks' texts folks posted on the board when we drafted him. If we did the opposite of what several posters wanted when drafting players we'd be super bowl champs when you look at how often several folks are wrong about draft pick evaluation I was here at the forum when the pick was made. All I really remember was Caleb piping up for the kid. The negativity came later though, by people that were too impatient for development of Trey. All I did was check in on video of Trey in Colorado and sure liked what I saw. Most here at first liked him from the first though. I can't even think of a reason to dislike him in any way either.

Baldy does and outstanding job of highlighting the Cardinals OL and outstanding blocking techniques vs. the Bears defensive front. Give credit to Petzing for the design. Give credit to the OL coach for training up the guys. When healthy, this OL makes seams, gaping holes, and highways for RBs.

I loved our young CBs coverage last night against three very good receivers. Led to incompletions and coverage sacks all day. Melton had his best game as a pro. I knew the Cardinals CBs had a good game vs the Bears. Baldy again highlights that the CBs are proving to be some of the best in the NFL. Bottom line: We got a decent defense if this group continues to improve and grow.
