Good-Rushing over 200 yards...great game for Conner and his 100 yard effort...the win and it being over in three quarters...Demacardo score to end the 1st half...holding Bears to about 50 yards rushing...6 sacks...kicker
Bad-Cards 4 man pass rush and the turnovers...MHJ's performance with a turnover to add to a bad day at the office.
Ugly-Pro-Bears announcers (I used to like Davis)...Bears QB....Bears over-rated defense(that was for Flash) Throwing on second down when Conner was destroying the defense and having to settle for a FG as well as taking an opportunity from Conner to have a TD.
The best...the wins are stacking.

Good-special teams kicking yet again, low penalties
Bad-almost no usage of our WR’s, Harrison 2-5 plus a fumble, Wilson 0-1, Dortch 0-1. 2-7 for 34 yards and a fumble.
Ugly-the good kind of ugly…smash mouth run game and lots of sacks!

I busted a gut laughing at this headline at AZCardinals.com:
"CARDINALS BLUDGEON BEARS TO STAY IN FIRST PLACE"

One thing I think all will agree on....Trey McBride may be the best player on the team. He doesn't have a good game here or there....he is killing it in every game. I wanted a good tight end for so long....now we finally have one. Without him, we would not be 5 and 4.

My wife and I were discussing during the game that McBride has been the best TE we’ve had since we moved to AZ in 1993.

Good - - First time in a LOOOONGG time that all 3 phases played very well. ST even started the game with a good punt return by Dortch to setup first score and of course, Gilliken is fantastic as a punter with Blount making a great play which created the safety.
- McBride TD showed some creativity to the offense and thank goodness no "wildcat" formations. Now if only I can get Petzing to roll out KM1 to the right and do a throwback TE middle screen - guaranteed to get 10-12 yds but with McBride's hurdling/running ability could be much more.
- Coaching - today confirmed for me that the culture has changed as I saw a connected team which played physical on both sides. Seeing the players on the sidelines having joy & excitement to play football and happy for their teammates was a sight to see. Players development -- do Cardinal fans realize when you go to the roster page of azcardinals.com that the 53-man roster has TWENTY-EIGHT players who are 25 yrs old or younger. This doesn't even include BJ Ojulari who is only age 22.... and if we get his older brother Azeez (He is only age 24).
Bad - - MHJ fumble -- I agree with announcer Davis as I didn't like that MHJ jumped up for a ball in which he could have just caught with his hands. Not jumping means a WR can secure the ball into his body quicker and get on the move more quickly to create some YAC.
- Need more play action passing game to totally unlock this offense.
- Jalen Thompson -- are you in witness protection program ?
Ugly - - Way too many Bears fans - better be a LOT better vs. Jets.
- Phoenix weather - rain/hail ?? The summer temps lasted 2 1/2 weeks longer than normal and we've had few days with temps in the 80's. Who doesn't like a low humidity 84 degree day in Phx ?
Cards again must take care of Jets as they then get the Seahawks (who have lost FIVE of their last SIX games) for two out of the next three games. Cards need to keep it going as right now the 7 playoff teams in NFC seem to be almost locked in with the NFC South Division Winner (Bucs lose tonight vs. Chiefs and they will be 3 games behind the Falcons who are putting it together), NFC West Division winner, NFC Central having 3 teams (Lions/Packers/Vikings) and the NFC East having both the Commanders & Eagles.

How can you forget to mention that he has gone two consecutive games now with a hurdle over a defender for extra yards after the catch. I'm not a big fan of ball carriers leaving their feet, but both those instances were pretty spectacular. Trey has some hops. Maybe start calling him Air McBride.

Really, really makes me laugh given all the 'he sucks' texts folks posted on the board when we drafted him. If we did the opposite of what several posters wanted when drafting players we'd be super bowl champs when you look at how often several folks are wrong about draft pick evaluation

And my humble opinion any professional sports organization spend way more time evaluating the mental health and attitude and attitude and consider that this is important as the physical ability. Without that extreme mental evaluation there's really no way to tell what a player is going to do until they're actually playing and you already paying him. One thing that I would do is we've seen what happened with me Brian is he had a rookie season and wasn't anything special and as you mentioned a lot of people here were calling for his head. Then he got a little better the next year and a lot better the next year. I would like to find out exactly what it was that caused him to improve. His physical abilities didn't improve any so it was a mental improvement but I would like to know what specific things cause that to happen.

When they came in '88 they had Jay Novacek and Rob Awalt, 2 very good TEs, particularly Novacek. Of course, not long afterwards they traded Jay to Dallas where he was Pro Bowl quality. I don't really remember if he had a pro bowl year with the Cards, he may have. I don't think I'd trade McBride for either or both of them though to be honest.
