I see us losing to the Vikings and Rams above...

the Vikings are just a good team and we don't have the CB to cover Jefferson...he will beat us...

the Rams because they have Nakua back...we beat them with only Cooper Kupp being able to play a half of the game...I was expecting the Rams to score more than 10 points in that game even without Nakua...can their defense stop us from scoring another 41 points? If they can't I see us winning this game...however...I am going to say that we lose this game.

Bears...here are the wins for the Bears...

Titans 1-6

Rams 3-4

Panthers 1-7

Jaguars 2-6

They have not won a game against a team with a .500 or better record...

Jets...they are a train wreck right now...even with Rodgers, Adams and Reddick on the roster...losing to the Patriots...I am sure has broke their confidence...but because of their roster...yes...they can win this game.

That is a pretty damn good roster...this could be one game we lose if they get their act together...

However, even before Davante Adams and Haasan Reddick...they were not that good...they have only beat the Titans and Patriots...will Adams and Reddick be the difference by the time we play against them? I am just going to say we win this game...just a gut feeling to be honest...nothing more....

Seahawks...I just don't think the Seahawks are as good as their 4-4 record. Here are their 4 wins:

Broncos (Bo Nix a Rookie QB starting for the first time at the NFL level)

Patriots (Record of 2-6 currently)

Dolphins (No Tua in that game)

Falcons (the only team that is pretty good right now)

They lost to the:
Lions by 13 points(we lost by 7 points)
Giants by 9 points(who are 2-5 right now)
49er's by 12 points(we beat the 49er's)
Bills by 21(we lost by 6 points where Marvin had only two targets)

I think we sweep them this season...

Patriots...just on their record

Panthers...just on their record

That is 6 wins above...or we lose one or two of those and surprise and beat the Rams again or the 49er's again...don't forget that Aiyuk is out for the season...Kittle was their top receiver last night. Deebo did not really do that good...we already contained Mason once...however if McCaffery is back...well...that totally changes things...even if we don't sweep the Seahawks, we would end up with 9 wins this season as I predicted...but we actually have a shot at a 10 win season and maybe even one more than that....I know that we can lose against any of the teams above or to all of them...I just don't see that happening....

I see us with a 9 or 10 win season...whether we make the playoffs with those wins, I don't know...I still think we are not a true playoff contender...but next season...WATCH OUT!!!!!

I predicted 8-9 wins this season, stating that our 4 wins last year would have been around 6 wins with a healthy Kyler all season. I still feel that’s about where we are at. We’ve already got as many wins as last season. We won’t be picking 2025’s Marvin Harrison Jr or Joe Alt.

In all seriousness, I do get your point. The last two wins were by the skin of our teeth, yet we did it. Thats what good teams do. Win the close ones.

Can we keep it up, I sure hope so, but it's far from certain.

What I can say, my/our team has met my expectations so far. I'm thrilled. I think our future is bright. No doubt, we will have a few more games where even us homers will say ugh, but I think we are moving forward.

Thanks for this detailed post! Before the Miami game I posted a hope we got 2 out of 3 before the bye, and then be 5-5 with a relatively easy schedule to go. Our Miami win and your post makes me greedy for a Bears win and 6-4 going into the bye and weaker schedule. We can beat every team on that list except perhaps the Vikings…and any given Sunday on that one.
