A shout out for Evan. Some have trashed him this year and all he has done is solidify the LG position. He has surrendered 2 sacks in 8 games and has assisted Paris with consistency at his side. A dependable smart vet who has bounced around. OL is one of the hardest units in the NFL to play as one and if there is a failure to play as one it is disastrous.
A second shout out for Colon who has been crickets since Will's injury...which is a great thing. Last it was nice seeing Adams having some good snaps today as well.
For all the misses on defenders...it is refreshing to have a beat up OL not surrender a sack in three games and block and be one of the best rushing teams in the NFL.

I’ll agree, but I’ll also opine that a statue QB would have been sacked 25 times this season with our Oline.

Both of the Cardinals guards are free agents and having good years. Hernandez will be coming off knee surgery so his market will be diminished unfortunately for him. One of the things with the team being on an upswing is that attractiveness for free agents will be easier in the recruiting process. Also rookie Isaiah Adams has been getting some snaps at RG as Colon and him appear to be on somewhat a rotational basis to keep both fresh.
P.S. The fact both of the Cardinal guards are free agents which is why I want Monti to "steal" another Evan ... Evan Neal from the NY Giants. I found articles that some draft "gurus" had Neal going #1 overall in the draft a few years ago. We already know the Giants are very dysfunctional at the moment and for some reason they want Neal to play RT however I think he is much like the former Cardinal Leonard Davis who struggled at tackle but was a Pro Bowl Guard.
Right now the Cards are picking #19 if season ended today so the picks traded away for each round will be probably in the 17-23 area. Can the Cards get Edge Ojulari, Evan Neal and DT Jordan Riley for a 2025 4th rounder and a 2026 CONDITIONAL (either Ojulari resigns with Cards or # of snaps for Neal/Riley in 2025) 6th rounder ?

I like the ability to rotate players like Adams and Colon and some of the blocking games…they will pull an OL across the pocket to double and have unexpected schemes.

Statue quarterback? Can you give me an example? I just have this image of a QB just standing still with his arm cocked and ready to throw, much like the old statue of Liberty play.😄🙄
