Here are his stats in the Miami game.
Blake Gillikin
3 punts 52 avg. 0 60 yards
He ranks 10th in the league with a 49.8 avg. 10 inside the 20
He pinned them deep several times.
Wasn't the safety because they were pinned deep? If it was then that was a game changer.

Great point by you, FLCF. Yessirree, indeed the Cardinal safety on the Tua gaff led to the two points which kept the football game just a one score game. Cardinals would score yet miss their 2 point equalizer and have to wait for their next offensive position which proved to be the winning drive. Definitely grateful for...
Gilliken and the skipper too, A millionaire and his wife. A movie star, The professor and Mary Ann, Here in a divisional tie for 1st place.
apologies in advance for this horrible pop reference!

I like Gillikin and adding in Ryland, who we have to keep, I like the youth at the kicking positions.

Prater has been a stalwart kicker, but time is not kind to older football players. It makes sense to find and keep good replacements at all positions who have
more of that precious time to contribute before they also fall victims to age.
Given that this regime of coaches and GM stress youth already, I suspect we will be seeing more of both players you mention.
IMHO
