UR Dad Never played like that. Get over URself young man. The only person hurting U is U! Yesterday in his press conference when asked about what does he have to improve on ... his answer was "improve on RUN GAME." I like that answer because it means the coaches have stressed to him that his effort level needs to increase on run plays or passes elsewhere and he needs to be active with blocking. Like I pointed out early Tuesday, JC could have scored on the key play of the game on last drive but MHJ passed on blocking on the only defender left to get in JC's way to end zone. This at least told me the coaches were holding him accountable -

I would be a little pissed off to nothing to do with being a Diva when you compare other wr's from his draft class and how they are being targeted and used to be productive.I don't know who if it is petzing or KM to blame or both but too many times I have seem Harrison wide open and Kyler never looks at him nor not near enough of your so called number 1 wr. TD to Interception ratio is good but only three games over 200 yds That has to improve.

Time to grow up kid. I doubt he' that tough mentally. Grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth and has always been the man with all focus on him.
Now he's part of a team and he needs to compete to get open and make those contested catches.
I have big hopes for the kid moving forward.

Was it a silver spoon or never having to deal with adversity? He was always the WR ready for the next level, huge route tree, trained to be the guy, etc… well, in the pros, the speed of the game is fast! You have to make split second decisions and have to be on the same page. Not every play is scripted. Sometimes the QB and WR have to see the defense and the play is modified based on what they see. If one person sees it differently, it looks like what we have. Kyler throwing a back-shoulder or an out and Marv running a fade. Little things matter.
Originally, I thought Marv would hit the ground running and compete for ROPY then I hoped he was productive by game 6. Now I hope we can see maybe 3 or 4 games that showcase his future. Right now it’s been disappointing or MEH for a best case.

Maybe he has been taught mainly as a WR rather than also being a FOOTBALL player - meaning there are other ways to help the team during a game than just catching balls thrown to him. That would explain the instances of near disinterest, detachment or not blocking during any one play. Have coaches seen this and tried to remedy it, or is he failing to adapt, or is it a case of player and coach each having shortcomings?
Regardless, it seems he was not prepared for NFL level requirements despite shining in college, and that he, Murray and Petzing have a lot to iron out quickly.
IMHO.

You sound like a scorned ex gf. Is he the last thing that you think about at night before you stab your voodoo doll? You only post about him...or posts that set up another conversation about him. On Sunday I was going to say a game day thread with Aussie chirping in is like when you go watch a game with a bunch of your buddies and one guy brings the new girlfriend who has watched maybe three games, but she keeps chirping in with ridiculous questions and observations and it ruins the game for everyone. The obsession with Murray and the desire for him to perform poorly just so he can say “I told you so” seems pathological.

As a side note in FItz’s last season he recorded over 20mph (gps in shoulder pad) which made him a top 15 WR in the league regarding speed not to mention his knowledge of the game & hands like glue.
