Lot of talk, opinions and threads on this board about KM…always has been since he was drafted… and my guess is that there will always be…well pundits…who would you take in a given draft if you were GM for a day? After a long lay off by TUA…is it imperative that KM look like the more polished and better QB this weekend? Or in the immortal words of the late Al Davis…is it more important for him to “just win baby”? My guess is WIN…however…if the Cardinals lose to a rusty TUA who outplays and outshines KM from the pocket…the chatter on this board will get louder…no doubt.

Tua's flourished in Mcdaniel's offense at least until the Dolphins have to play a game in cold weather environments against strong defenses. Cardinals don't have a strong defense. Cards' D played out of their mind to salvage their season this past Monday night. Cardinals have not won 2 games in a row since the 2021 season. This team under Gannon, so far, seems to rest on their laurels after after a victory and turn up un- prepared to play the following week.
I could see a Dolphins blowout easily this Sunday. If that happens, it's time to seriously look at this Cardinal coaching staff. If the Cardinals lose a close, high scoring game, that means the defense let the team down. We Cards' fans could accept that as we know the defense is awful and undermanned. If the offense fails to keep pace in a shootout, then Bidwill, Ossenfort should be under scrutiny for their coaching hires.
I don't think I'm being too over-reactionary here. New regime had Murray for 8 games in their inaugural season and they finished 4-5. Prater shanked that kick v. Seattle on purpose in week 18 last year to insure the 4th over all pick to AZ. So they really finished 3-5 under K1. This is a crucial season while this organization backs Kyler as their franchise guy.
Cardinals don't have to make the playoffs during this 2nd year rebuild. But Petzing and the offense better keep the Cardinals in every game this season. Anymore Commander or Packer losses should demand scrutiny re: future employment of all coaches.
