Now I know why I don't watch Monday Night Football. The announcers are atrocious. All we heard at the beginning of the game was the word "greatness", alluding to Justin Herbert and Marvin Harrison Jr. Just slathering on compliment after compliment. Why? because they don't understand the teams and have to fill air time. Clearly both players are not "great" but are already household names, so the audience doesnt know any better.
I'd say Herbert and Kyler, while being very different QB's, are about on the same tier. Not elite, but better than average. Herbert can sling it, while Kyler can sure scramble.
The defense is coming up big based on effort, I give props to the coaching staff for that.
We probably have our CB1 and CB2 in Williams and Melton. They sure were picking on Max a lot though. I thought he did OK and Williams is very solid.
Marvin Harrison Jr. All his life he's been the "man". Things have come easy. Not anymore. And it sure looks like he's pouting. His body language isn't right. A sense of entitlement? I think so. But he's a kid and I hope he grows from these pains and matures to the player he can be. Let's face it , he didn't have a lot of separation when balls were being thrown to him. AND he dropped a couple he should have had.
Please, please never use Tune for that push play again. How brutal. Could have cost them the game.
Is the play calling not imaginative enough? Is the field not being stretched? Yes to both. But I think it's because of the personnel we have. No speedster. And the line perhaps create enough time. Penzing is taken a lot of heat but it may be for a reason we do what we do.
And that brings us to James Conner. Last night he was easily the best player on the field. What a man.
Kyer with scripted runs not so good. Kyler scrambling, simply elite. Kyler is 24th in the league on completions over 20 yards. That part of his game has slipped, but it might also have to do with personnel and play calling like mentioned earlier.
I love seeing Jim Harbaugh having a conniption on the sideline. All I could do is LOL.
McBride is easily our best option catching the ball. It's not even close.
Do you think we should push for the playoffs by getting a pass rusher? Why didn't we get one in the off season?
When was the last time we won a spotlight time game. It's been a while and sure it was ugly at times but we won.

That was a good read. I do think Herbert is a little better than possibly you do. But the rest of that in my opinion was spot on.

Why didn't we get one in the off season? There is no way Tune should be our backup QB. Edge rusher is the absolute need on defense.

When the Cardinals return home to play the Bears ... is it too much asking to see return of RT Jonah Williams, Darius Robinson's first game, picking up Edge Azeez Ojulari from the Giants and to fix the hands of "generational" talent MHJ

When the Cardinals return home to play the Bears ... is it too much asking to see return of RT Jonah Williams, Darius Robinson's first game, picking up Edge Azeez Ojulari from the Giants and to fix the hands of "generational" talent MHJ I believe folks are saying if D Rob doesn’t get activated by the Miami game, he will have to miss the season. Is this correct? As for Ojulari, it sure would be interesting to have two brothers at OLB feeding of and competing with each other on the same team. Has that ever happened before? MHJ…yesterday I was feeling very concerned about…well…the concerns I had about him and wrote extensively about him here on the forum. Not great at winning contested throws, goes down on first contact, not an A type “dawg” personality, perhaps a sheltered up-bringing. It all pointed to potential for being a bit soft when really challenged. I’ll continue to hope he matures and becomes his own man. He has genes, resume and talent up the wazoo.

Not positive but I think the Cards need to have DRob on the active roster on 10/28 (Wednesday practice to prepare for Bears) .... of course they can put him on the active roster but if he still can't play for awhile then the team is just wasting the roster spot.

So it’s ok to question a kid in his 6th game, but not the spud in his 6th season? there's a big difference between the two players. If Harrison is going to end up being one of those players with great skill and a bad head there's nothing we can do about it. As far as the little dude goes he's had stretches where he looks like the MVP. To be fair he has also had some really bad games. The solution to this is obvious. An effort must be made to get Harrison the ball early and often. Wilson is having a good year in McBride is having a good year. Surely there's a way to have past plays where the threat of those two guys creating space for Harrison. One thing I would like to know about the little dude is when he misses the receiver to his wide open and throws ball to someone else is that because he can't see them because of his height? Or because he simply isn't processing the information he sees correctly? In my humble opinion with the way Connor runs the ball and the threat of Kyler Murray taking on 50 yards to the house that should create openings in the passing game. In years past I'm more than likely would have watched the tapes of every game they played this year numerous times but I just don't have any anymore to do that
