Oct 21, 555am ET.
ESPN has the Chargers giving the Cardinals -1.5 points. That value is based on Las Vegas bettors putting more money on the Chargers to win.
The game score over/under is set at 44.5 points. That value reflects a predicted lower-scoring game per NFL average. Neither team is a prolific scoring machine in 2024.
Have fun with predictions. I look forward to Devongent's assessment on Tuesday morning.

EZ According to WF, the Sharps (supposedly the "smart money") have been putting $$ on the Cardinals ... much of Charger secondary and Bosa will be out for the game. This is the game for MHJ to "break out" as K. Coleman did yesterday for the Bills ... return of Zay Jones should help. McBride/MHJ/Jones/Wilson need to produce and KM1 needs to run at least 7-9X this game and keep the Charger defense on the field. BTW: The best move JG can make today with Trey Benson questionable due to "illness" is to get Michael Carter in there for some runs and screen passes.

Is RB Carter activated from PS for tonight's game? That would be absolutely amazing. Connor and Carter can catch out of the backfield as well. Wow!

In contrast to much of the pre-match commentary on the forum, most of those casting a score predicted were on the optimistic side and foresaw a Cardinal victory (seven out of the eleven postings). It seems the seven were either 'blind loyal', or astute enough to see another upswing of fortunes coming our way. - It appears the Defense showed up and collectively put in a sterling effort to restrict the Charges to fifteen points.
The results....
GOLD MEDAL - Flash (prediction 17 - 14) - margin of 1
SILVER MEDAL - CardCore (prediction 23 - 17) - margin of 8
BRONZE MEDAL - End Zone (prediction 13 - 10) - margin of 9
A massive well done to Flash, one point out on the Charges side, bang on with the Cardinals.
I think some forum members are giving the score prediction thread some proper thought and consideration, so a collective 'well done and thank you'.
For those not reaching the podium this time around, or for others not tipping this time around, then give it a go next time...

Until Murray starts hitting 85-90% of his passes in two consecutive games, I am forced to subtract a TD+XP from the lowest Las Vegas predicted Over/Underscore for the Cardinals. That's my working theory for Cardinals score predictions.
If Murray breaks the 300-yard game ceiling two games in a row, I also might reconsider the TD+XP subtraction. But not likely. He needs to get his *hit together by the end of the Bears game in two weeks, or the season will be over.
