Predicting the scores this season is a bit like that of picking the winner in the Grand National (famous jump horse race). There are plenty of big obstacles ahead and it is certainly a roller coaster ride for the fanbase with plenty of hope and a rise in expectations, then followed by rapid decent. The video, below, sums things up rather nicely; either a stomach-churning ride or an exhilarating experience (depending your dispensation for such capers). www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=video+rollercoster+at+blackpool&mid=07D9820DB772B6A6628307D9820DB772B6A66283&FORM=VIRESo, what is is going to be this time? - A positive upswing, or another dive of despair...? Make it count, get YOUR prediction in!

Cardinals 13
Chargers 10
I'm unfamiliar with the Grand National race. As a kid, I recall watching specially outfitted riders on horses galloping across grassy terrain with fences, trenches, and shallow ponds on TV. Some horses failed to make tricky jumps, and some riders were launched over the horse's heads into mudholes. I think every kid has ridden a rollercoaster. Some rollercoasters require a strong will. I've been on a few rollercoasters that reminded me of flying in fighter jets. The rollercoaster's G forces can be impressive.
I'm betting on the Cardinals not to dump the fans into a mudhole on Monday Night Football. The ride will be intimidating, but the result will be satisfying. The Cardinals will win a squeaker on a long field goal as overtime (OT) expires.

I'm unfamiliar with the Grand National race. Probably the most famous horse race in the world, and where many a million people place a few shillings on their only annual gambling flutter. The race is immortalized by a young Elizabeth Taylor in the film titled 'National Velvet' - www.imdb.com/title/tt0037120/ Back on an upward trajectory: Charges 17 - 29 Cardinals

Do we even have enough players not riding the pine to put on the field ? Come on lets do this , lemon lime is my favorite Kool Aid flavor ... Cards 31 Chargers 10.

The film inspired many millions of women and men to saddle up, including my little sister.

Do we even have enough players not riding the pine to put on the field ? Come on lets do this , lemon lime is my favorite Kool Aid flavor ... Cards 31 Chargers 10. The Chargers defense is crazy good. I was tempted to drop my beloved Cardinals final score into the teens, an uncomfortable zone for some recent games. I think if the Cardinals breach 21 points, they win MNF. The Chargers QB Herbert is struggling to find a pair of WR hands worthy of his passing. The Chargers mostly rely on their running backs to save the day. So far, that Harbaugh strategy works best.

I also picked the Cardinals to win by 3 points at MNF. A 3-0 score will be fine. Go Cardinals.

The Chargers QB Herbert is struggling to find a pair of WR hands worthy of his passing. The Chargers mostly rely on their running backs to save the day. So far, that Harbaugh strategy works best. They won these two games against: Raiders 22-10 Panthers 26-3 They lost these two games against: Steelers 10-20 Chiefs 10-17 Then they won this game: Broncos 23-16 The most points they have had is 26 points and that was against the Panthers...ho hum... Their Defense did allow: Steelers 20 points Chiefs 17 Points So, yes their defense is good. Even against good teams. But good is not great. It seems that they were only able to score 10 points against good defenses. Our defense is probably not as good as the Steelers or Chiefs...but I seriously do not think our defense is as bad as the Panthers or Raiders defense. Even though they beat the Broncos, don't forget that Bo Nix is a Rookie and Denver does not really have any standout WR's. I say that we beat the Chargers 17 to 14. Cardinals 17 Chargers 14

I need to get back into my winning guesses (that's all they are...guesses).
It seems the Chargers are a little better coached than we are so I'm going Chargers 24, Cardinals 20. If the Cards win, I will be happy to lose my prediction.

I fully anticipate a win this game but at the same time still anticipate being left with unanswered questions.
