Cardinals are doing nothing this season. Nothing! They'll finish with maybe 6 wins. However.... the Cardinals will have favorable cap money to massively rebuild this team thru free agency. Kyler cap hit not as brutal in 2025 if they decide to remain with Murray as QB1.
The test with the new regime is, they must master the 2025 draft with perfect picks on both sides of the line and own free agency with great stop gap talent. Ossenfort, Sears regime will be fairly judged this off season. 2024-25 will judge Michael Bidwills' ability to put the right folks in charge of his organization. We'll see.

And if your 6 wins forecast is correct, that pushes the team out of the running for a potential starting rookie QB with reasonable pro skills at the next Draft. I know that I cannot stomach another 3- or 4-win season. We're going in that direction unless something changes quick in OCT and NOV. The CAP cash might come in handy in 2025, if a senior QB is let go and a bidding war erupts. I do not consider Murray to be a senior QB yet.

The real problem is Michael Bidwill, but not for the reasons you think.
Bidwill isn't cheap. He is a meddler. He is turning into Jerry Jones. Bidwill hires coaches and GM that allow him to be involved with the football decisions. Quality GM's and coaches don't want to join an organization where the owner is too involved with football decisions. It's obvious Bidwill hires people who don't have strong personalities, success or leadership qualities because he wants to still be in control. That's the problem with the Cardinals Everyone thinks prominent coaches and GM don't join the Cardinals because of money. That's not it at all. They interview here, realize that Bidwill wants to be part of the Triangular Decision Group: Owner-GM-Head Coach make decisions together. Sean Payton and the best guys see that and want no part of it.
Bidwill needs to bring in a proven coach or a proven GM and get out of the way. But like with Jerry Jones, the ego takes over and these owners stop being rational and doing what's in the best interest of their team. It's not enough to win. It's that they have to win their way and be involved. That's why they never win. Look at Jerry Jones. Since he took over and kicked Jimmy Johnson out, the Cowboys have done nothing.
The guy has not been as public as he has in the past I just don't know if Bidwill is doing what you say. Maybe someone out there can share something to support this I have someonr close but not in the room to know if he is calling shots. I am sure when it comes to money then yes he has that right to know what's going on and involved in decisions. All I can say is that MB did proclaim that he was going to leave the football decisions to Monti and Co. and step away personally. Is that actually what’s taken place? Your guess is as good as mine.

I have no knowledge of Mike Bidwill meddling with any Cardinals football operations handled by the GM and HC since the Keim and Kingsbury jettison in early January 2023. Even before then, Bidwill's operations appearances were exceedingly rare. I think he handed out footballs after a big win and made a speech in 2022. Has he been photographed in the owner's box at games in 2024? I haven't seen him lately. He might be there tonight due to MNF and national audience. Down in Texas, Jerry Jones is the Cowboys GM, so he can do anything he wants to do, including calling plays, I suppose. I was listening to a yap session between a SirrusXM NFL station sports media personality and someone who hates the Cowboys talking about Jones dumping HC McCarthy before November 1st because the Cowboys are 3-3 and a national embarrassment. The problem for Jones is that Washington has left Dallas in the dust after Jones just paid Prescott about $1 zillion zillion zillion dollars to be spectacular. Jones could have easily traded up with hated the Washington franchise and take LSU's QB Daniels, but Jones did not, and now he's got to eat Texas road kill which is normally armadillo or rattler.

Rebuild not working if we are 2-5 after tonight and after playing 4 of our first 7 games at home! Nope. Must win tonight…for MO’s sake and his rebuild vision.

What "National Audience"? ESPN+ or NFL+ is Not a National Audience. This is strictly regional pandering to the west coast. REMINDER this is Game 7 of a Fanbase Predicted team to only win 3-7 games. Yet the proverbial "Ship is sinking" syndrome is swelling up Big time. The Cards are Not Supposed To BE GOOD this year. Y'all Said so in the Off season! 1 big win early and expectations where rocketing to the moon faster than a Space X Booster! CHILL OUT! Really guys stop being so emotional. (duckin fer cover before the rocks start flyin!)

(duckin fer cover before the rocks start flyin!) Turned out you were 100% correct, CBLTV. Disney, who owns the networks showing the game, blocked out anyone east of the S. Platte River in NE from watching LAC @ ARZ. I tried everything, short of flying to AZ, to watch the game from my lounge chair and it did not work. I'm pretty smart with tech but could not sneak my way past the Disney guards. I went to bed after watching Gamecast on ESPN for about 10 minutes. Cards were ahead 7-3 and I knew the result was going to be close at the end. I hope Disney got what they wanted by barricading the game from east coast viewers and forcing people to watch Tampa and Baltimore.
