Would you believe that the Cardinals are the least penalized team in the league after 5 games! Only team with less than 4 penalties a game. This IMO shows that the practice habits that JG & Company are installing are outstanding. When you are not beating yourself with penalties it goes long way to winning games.

A little factoid brought out by Brady calling the game.
They were ranked 3 before the Niner game.

A little factoid brought out by Brady calling the game. They were ranked 3 before the Niner game. Factoring in that the team is one of the youngest in the NFL and play home games with 40% of the opposing teams' fans in attendance. This lack of penalties does show the adoption of the JG culture and care in the details. Now if they could just unlock the KM1/MHJ connection and Darius Robinson can be in the top 5 for DROY.

It was good when it's lasted. The team took a pill before kickoff today.

They doubled down on the season penalties today...the officials were bad as well...mystery horse collar, Beach having inside foot even with the guard and it gets called for illegal formation...Brown slips and falls and defender is tripped up by it and Evan gets a holding call...Barnes touches Love as he slips by him avoiding contact and Love reacts like he was hit and ref calls roughing the whiner and the whiner is rewarded...even one or two of SMB's defensive holding calls were suspect. The NFL wants to ensure the Cards do not have success or they are subject to quite a few bad calls as a quinky-dink.

www.nflpenalties.com/referee/alex-kemp?year=2024#google_vignetteWe should have seen today's 13 penalties for 100 yards coming. Referee Alex Kemp's crew has quickly developed a reputation for the nigling finger touch on the QB hat penalty and the judgment penalty that is neither reviewable nor reversible. Check out Referee Alex Kemp's crew track record so far in 2024. A week ago, his crew exploded for an eye-popping 21 yellow rags, costing the Lions and Seahawks almost 200 yards in penalties. The 18 rags thrown at the Cardinals @ Packers game was not a Kemp crew record. The NFL will note Kemp's aggression at some point and reign him in.
