A big challenge awaits at the weekend, but with such comes an equal opportunity.
Should the Cardinals pull off what seemed (before last week) an unlikely victory, then this could be transformative for the season chances. Playing in the famous Lambeau Field stadium in a high stakes game is what professional sportsmen aspire to be involved with, and I can only imagine the staff and players will be pumped to give it their all.
A dilemma for the forum membership: Do you go with your head (Packers win) or your heart (Cardinals win), which might be a good way to view and ponder it. The predication outcome for each camp will be interesting to see and I suspect could be quite close; my guess is 60% will choose the home side to win, but you can never quash the unlimited optimism of the dedicated Cardinals supporter.
Post away with your view and score...

I think the 49ers win motivated our team. They will keep the momentum going by beating down the Packers.

After 5 games, the Packers are a top-ranked power team, ranked at #6 by ESPN when all Packers O/D/ST performance factors are averaged. The Cardinals are below the NFL average power ranking. I'll not provide the ESPN ranking # for the improving Cardinals. :-)
QB Love is growing into the job. In some games, he's hot, and then he's cold. If he hits a hot streak on Sunday, he's nearly unstoppable. He can become frustrated and hurry passes to WRs, which risks misses and maybe a few INTs. I look for Rallis to design some blitz packages highlighting Edge Robinson and forcing the Packer's pocket to move around and Love to be flushed out of protection. I look for the Packer's offense to test Edge Robinson on some run plays to see what the rookie can or cannot do under severe pressure.
I'm picking the Cardinals to win again on the road, this time by 6 points. My total points O/U is 42, which is lower than Las Vegas by about 4.5 points. I think the two teams run games will dominate the script, eat up time, and cause fewer points to be scored.
Cardinals 24 Packers 18

My trend has been if I pick the Cards to win they lose or to lose they win. So for a win this weekend, I'm staying with the trend. Packers 27 Cards 23

I think the return of some of key players will put us back in the mix and radar in the NFL this week . Cards seem to play better on the road with no family distractions to deal with . IMO. Cards will do pretty good in this one and the D will have a lot to do with it. Cards 30 Packers 27 Praters back.

I’ve thought about this one for a bit… Robinson isn’t playing but I’m not sure he would make a difference this early in the season. GB’s defense is solid and and Love is starting to figure it out. Can KM figure out their defense? Will he run enough to keep the defense honest?
I felt Cardinals were going to win one of these two travel games. Can they win them both? Heck yeah!
Cardinals 30 Packers 27
Bonus would be this is our travel game so I’ll be here if they win! Go get a win Cards!!!

A case of the scores of the match not being close, but another short-head finish on the forum predication thread.
There were five members who plumped for a Packers victory and the margin given by each person were all within a whisker of each other. - Consequently, there are FIVE names on the honor board to present -
GOLD MEDAL - Cardinals Junkie (prediction 21 - 26) - Margin score = 16
and then a flurry of four people, all having a Margin score of 17. - Order, as always, decided upon the lowest margin of the Cardinals score within this total.
SILVER MEDAL - 70's Card Fan (prediction 23 -27) - Cardinals margin score of 10 BRONZE MEDAL - vwvectors (prediction 24 - 28) - Cardinals margin score of 11 Fourth Place - ricardo (prediction 25 -29) - Cardinals margin score of 12 Fifth Place - respecttheprocess (prediction 26 - 30) - Cardinals margin score of 13
Well, I should have taken my own advice in the OP ('head over heart') and quite a few of us got carried away after the excellent fight-back showing against the 49ers. - I suspect the pundits within the membership will display a more somber tone next time out, but perhaps this may lead to people being overly pessimistic and underpredicting the Cardinals.
Thanks to all the member who participated, which is much appreciated. - If you didn't reach the podium on this occasion, then better luck next time.....!
