I had mentioned earlier that if the 49ers beat Seattle and we beat the Packers, that we would be first in the division...
So, this article on NFL.com mentions that the 49ers will be first in the division if they beat Seattle? Here is the article:
Am I incorrect in what I am thinking or is the article just not considering the division ranking if we win? I see a little bias in this article...SCOFF!!!!

I saw also that WR Zay-Jones got an exception to begin practicing with the offense now. I don't know how effective he will be be for a few weeks. Maybe he can run some sprints for Harrison. I think Edge Robinson will play right away. Rallis will figure out the best time to plug him into the game. I'm sure the rookie wants to prove himself. But, he also needs to contribute and not just run around in circles. Michael Wilson on the JV podcast yesterday stated all of the offensive lineman during pre-season trading camp that Darius Robinson should be a Pro-Bowler within a coupe of years as the OL raved about him. The team could take a BIG leap upward if both the 2024 1st rounders perform at even 90% of their expectations. MHJ/DRob playing at 90-100% of expectations can more than make up the disappointment so far in the 2024 FA class. Yes - right now I think MHJ is at about 70% of expectations as Kyler and him are not yet in sync. BTW: Weather forecast now is calling for mid - 50's but showers expected on Sunday ... don't think this favors the Cardinals however under JG the team sure did perform last year vs. Steelers so we'll see. I have medium expectations for DRob's first game. I wonder if Rallis will have DRob on a snap count to ensure he doesn't over-do it the first game. One thing I know, DRob is not going to blow up the Packers offense and get 10 QB sacks. Those guys will take care of business and protect QB Love. The run game for the Cardinals is again key. The Cardinals have the specialists for the RB job. That includes Murray. The Wisconsin drizzle and a grass field will be perfect for Sunday football. This will be another close game at the whistle.

A Green Bay reporter was interviewed on 98.7 today and the Packers best DL this season (leader in sacks) D. Wyatt will most likely not play on Sunday. I sure hope for the Cardinals their best DL (DRob) will hopefully play 30+ snaps and their best corner (Garrett Williams) is back. Also looks like Prater should be back this Sunday too.

Just a FYI. The Packers have the 3rd best OL per PFF. If you think Daniels had all daybto throw...you're gonna be upset on Sunday.

Packers TE Luke Musgrave going on IR -- TE Luke Musgrave going on IRAlso DRob was NOT a participant in Thursday's practice so it doesn't look like Sunday will be his return. Chargers game is a Monday night so he'll have another day to rest up his calf. These calf injuries around the NFL seem to lasting longer than doctors' first expect though I believe Russell Wilson's calf injury appears to be healed as he was a full participant for the Steelers on Thursday. I do believe RW's calf injury was a week or so before DRob's.

I'm not feeling any sense of urgency, or optimism, or skepticism going into this game. I'm just in a game by game wait and see mode about this team. Have they finally hit enough of a stride to start showing some consistency that might put them in the mix for postseason, or have they already shown the best they will do this season (meaning up and down play)? Will Kyler start generating MVP talk? Will MHJ rise as a candidate for rookie of the year? Will we finally have a defense that can really make a difference? More questions for me than anticipation or expectations.
