I more agree with your final sentiments about the D... I seriously miss Chandler Jones right now. We desperately need a serious pass rush presence, regardless of the way JG acted so aloof about it when it was brought up a while back. I sure hope we can at the very least snag one in the next draft if we cannot obtain one prior. |

Craig Carton says that Devante Adams will be a Jet next week. Also Reddick is getting traded to the Falcons (who drafted Penix rather than Dallas Turner) to get some draft compensation to mitigate the draft hit in a WR Adams trade.
P.S. The discussion of the defense surely would have been helped if Monti would have spent the $$ on an edge rusher ... especially on my #1 desired target which was Greenard now of the Vikings.

The Team spent draft Capital on pass rush by Drafting DRob @#1B Pick. Bad neews was the PS Calf injury. DRob will be back in a bit and our Pass Rush and Run defense Will be Upgraded by his return. Mark it!

Adams to the Jets has just seemed the natural landing spot ever since this subject came up. Parting company with Reddick in the process would just be the icing on the cake as long as they still have a semblance of a pass rush. |

I'm surprised Adams has not signed somewhere by now. Everybody wants it to happen. Maybe he's got a short list of nasty teams. That would explain his fixation on EAP.
