I don't think the League office likes MB as you would think a franchise which was part of the initial NFL would get some fair treatment ... but sadly that answer is a "NO"
I became suspicious of the NFL office back in the "covid season" as the Cardinals had 5x as many players test positive (and had to sit out playing) than the other NFC West franchises COMBINED !!!! Of course the fact that PCR testing can be calibrated in its sensitivity to get higher (or lower) amount of positive results.
Of course, Cardinal fans can point to the fact that no one can remember getting a close 4th qtr call which went in favor of the Cardinals.
Anyway - the newest perplexing ruling by the NFL is Browns DT Michael Hall getting a 5 game suspension in a domestic abuse case where he pled NO CONTEST and involved brandishing a gun at the head of his girl friend. Now Zay Jones got a 5 game suspension in which the DA dropped all the charges after their office's investigation. Does this smack of unequal justice ?

This ruling has me convinced that the NFL office will never suspend Rashee Rice who currently is involved in a case in which he has been charged with EIGHT FELONIES ... the cause of which I believe he has admitted to. Also a person was seriously injured. WR Rice could be out for the season with an ACL injury, but I am pretty sure now that whatever Rice's penalty/suspension for his personal conduct turns out to be, Goodell will allow the 13 games left in the 2024 season to be used as an offset to the ultimate suspension policy.
The comparative "justice" by the NFL in their treatment of Chief related matters is always interesting. Britt Reid (Andy's son) who was a LB coach for the Chiefs being found guilty DUI, injuring severely a 5 yr old girl and sentenced to 3 yrs in prison (of course he had his sentence commuted by the Missouri governor) which outraged the parents of the little girl. The team was not fined for this incident despite evidence presented that Britt Reid got drunk at a Chiefs sponsored party the week of the Super Bowl in which they were participating in.
Chiefs LB Frank Clark had TWO separate incidents (both in 2021) in which he was charged with felony possession of multiple assault weapons. These were pled down to misdemeanors after pleading no contest. Of course a domestic abuse case in Ohio years before never resulted in any suspension of Mr. Clark --

HMMM, I guess as far as Roger Goodell's view of justice - Zay Jones should have just plead no contest rather than never being charged at all with a crime ... or I guess he could have signed with the Chiefs as a FA and probably not received any suspension at all.
